Take the blinkers off and give credit where it's due.

 

Maybe he was confusing him with Engels.

 

Turnt up when we needed it most. That’s our Reo.

 

Second half Engels maybe. First half Engels was excellent I think.

 

First half McGregor and Hatate were absolute quality. Engels was good too but not as good as them.

Second half everyone dropped off, Engels had a bit of a shocker, McGregor became less involved but Hatate was still trying things and sure enough it led to the goal.

Hatate/Schmeichel for MOTM.

 

His ball retention and all round play was sharp. Played numerous killer passes first half , wouldn't mind a compilation I'm sure it will do the rounds.

 

Good performance tonight and what a pass to set up Idah for that winner.

 

Exceptional tonight

 

Agree with this. Ball retention, control and passing in tight spaces was the best I've seen from him this season.

 

He was * exceptional

 

The modern day Sammy. Waste of space one minute, unplayable the next. You almost knew he was gonna turn it on tonight despite being * for the majority of games recently. Outstanding tonight!

 

He just seems to play better as the game goes on, finishes so strongly.

 

If he could turn in performances like that consistently, we would have won a watch. On his day he’s a level above, that’s why when he doesn’t turn up it’s so frustrating. Very good tonight, he looked a lot more engaged and positive

 

Thought he was a bit weak in the tackle and getting to second balls tbh, but the baller side of his game made up for that. Best performance in ages tonight, hope he keeps it up.

 

Either world class or Sunday league, but when it works he’s a * of a player.
