Reo Hatate

Agreed, and that's what frustrates me he does have some of the best passing you could ask for and some lovely touches. I just feel he's been off it this season and goes completely missing in alot of games. This is probably the worst spell he's had here, and we all know what he's capable of.

 

He’s been * honking for what we know he can do this season. But against Killie, his passing and general play is what I expect from him. Shame he missed a pure sitter, or it’d have been a flawless game from him.

And anytime he’s shown that, he’s not followed it up the same the next game. That’s what he needs to do, consistently do what he can.

He played well on the weekend but when I seen the line up, first thought was that’s * on McCowan losing a place. Hatate at his best is possibly our best player. But that’s the thing, when was the last time for even 3/4 games in a row have we seen him at his best?

 

He's got to be sharper and more decisive on the ball. Too often, he’s receiving it facing his own goal, waiting for it to come to him, and taking that extra second to make a decision—which gets him caught out. On his day, he’s an absolute magician, but the inconsistency is a real issue. We need him at his best tonight, no question about it.

 

We could really do with an Aberdeen cup semi final or Leipzig at home level performance from Hatate tonight.

His consistency has been a major problem but if he could pull it out the bag he will be one of the best players on the park.

Quality performance. One of his best this season. It's no surprise to see our goal come from his vision and perfect weight of pass. He had a few like that in the first half.

Was shocked to see him getting pelters in the match thread.

 

Same thought I was watching a different game . Would love to see his pass completion, was a really really cultured performance . Pass was unreal .

Was some save to deny him first half aswell.

 

Probably his best performance in a Celtic shirt and * did he choose a time to pull that out. Incredible effort at the end also, he was clearly burst but was closing down like a * man possessed at the end there.

Worked hard, great pass for the goal. Usual performance otherwise, passing the ball out the park, giving it away far too often. No doubting he has ability but not the consistency. One swallow doesn’t make a summer.
