It's actually great to have his insight with his commentary over the current side given his working relationship with the vast majority of current players over the previous three seasons, gives you little tid bits of information that you otherwise wouldn't know about, such as mentioning that Brendan would often talk to Kuhn at halftime multiple times in front of the squad last season saying "c'mon Kuhn show them all what you got"

 

He’s a great Co-commentator/pundit tbh. Not too biased to the point it gets annoying but still very positive and has some great insight and his knowledge of the game is second to none. Hope we see far more of him even if it’s doing games we’re not involved in.

Always emotional when I see this. Loving big Kasper so far but don’t think he’ll come close to Joe when it’s all said and done for him here.

Saw some photos of his last game for us (and of his career). Most loveable keeper since Boruc

 

Freezing cold day away from home, 3 days before Xmas. Fair play to him, plenty of ex players turn up for derbys or trophy days in the sunshine. You don't see many following on games like today.

He's a guy who really got the club when he came here and became a genuine fan.

Done really well with his media work since retiring from playing.

Been pleasantly surprised by how articulate he is on co-coms, and his reactions at key moments watching Celtic - like the first disallowed Kyogo goal and Maeda’s red card have been equally endearing and professional

Don't normally mind it TBH. I think he just tries too hard and it doesn't bother me. Tonight, though, I was so nervous, frustrated and, at times, panicky, that I just wanted him to stop.

At one point, their keeper made a save and he said, "I really liked that save." I get that he meant from a technical point of view, but it wasn't the time or place.

 

Love the big man, but he's trying to make it sound like poetry or something when he's assessing the game, lol and it is painful.

He defo holds us close to his heart though, bless him.

 

He is a chatterbox, and maybe veers in to sounding a bit like a life coach at times , but I still like him on commentary. Maybe he really is that chatty in day to day life, but given that he’s still relatively new to the gig I sort of get the vibe he’s just eager or a bit too conscious about dead air. He offers up some good insights and does try to be balanced in his analysis, which is a massive improvement over some of the arseholes we’ve had to endure over the years.

It’s just nice to hear a guy that seems genuinely enthusiastic when talking about us. There was as a point shortly after the goal when the crowd was really coming to life again and he started talking about ‘us’ when referring to the club and support. It’s been said before, but I just can’t help but like the guy when he’s clearly someone that’s taken the club to heart.
