I think I found the game, I think it was against Zurich.

I've been trying to find out what game it was for ages. That Tom Boyd save was class.

    https://www.thecelticwiki.com/1998-10-20-celtic-1-1-fc-zurich-uefa-cup-2nd-round/

A nightmare goalkeeping night for Gould – which gave rise to the amazing Flying Boyd, a handball, straight red and a penalty – which Gould saved, only to be lobbed late in the game for Zurich’s equalizer.

There's a bigger write up in the link.

Sorry for High jacking the thread.

How he kept no.1 was baffling. Between Stewart kerr, tony warner, all of whom were better keepers never became a mainstays

Be interesting to see how it goes, although on paper they appear to be quite poor, struggling in their League and CL.

They are probably "comfortable" in competitive games compared to us, their League is very competitive, only 18 points from top to bottom where as we're 13 clear of 2nd in our League. So every game they play domestic and Europe is probably evenly balanced or tough where as we very rarely deal with any pressure and even probably only 1 in 7 of our games are really competitive.

So now we are "under pressure" we're not usually in against a team who are probably comfortable in this type of game.

Need the first goal, preferably early to get the place bouncing.

If it ends up 30 minutes in, us all the ball but hardly been near their box the atmosphere will be dead and fans will begin to turn, probably bringing about mistakes and panic.

I'd actually really like to see a late winner, maybe like Idah off the bench with a header in the 90th minute to win it if you were writing the script. Big late winners tend to give you a good kick on and buzz about the place in the matches after, players knocking their pans in to get over the line and the relief and that from it.

Fans in stadium really need to switch off the negativity gene, we criticise the team for it - so let's not do it ourselves.
100% support only required tonight, regardless of how you are feeling.

It’s actually disgusting to think our fans now behave in the manner a lot in here are suggesting might happen tonight. No wonder some call us entitled. I will be 100% behind the team for the 90 odd minutes, as per usual.

We've often had pretty * keepers haven't we. Feel like we didn't have anybody decent for over a decade until Boruc came along.

Ideally, City would draw or lose; Madrid would lose; Zagreb would lose; Milan would lose; and Sporting would lose (currently losing 1-0).
