Pretty much every result so far is going against us tonight.

True mate, but was hoping results went our way tonight and a point might have done us in the end. It’s basically win or bust for us tomorrow as it stands.

We need to start offering up some sort of virgin sacrifices or think about making a pact with Satan just in case. (confession for me on Saturday)

I'll offer my virginity for a win. In fact, I'd do it every week.

Just go and get at them with the Leipzig game energy and we get the three points!

See regardless if Villa won or not, they would not have been guaranteed top 8 without beating us. If results continue as they are you are looking at 8 teams having a good chance of being on 18.

    Liverpool are there
    Leverkusen will likely get there
    Barcelona could get there
    Dortmund will likely get there
Inter have two favourable fixtures left
Milan have two favourable fixtures left
Arsenal have two favourable fixtures left
Bayern Munich have a good chance of winning their two fixtures

If Barca don’t make 18 it’s likely Atalanta will get 17.

Of Villa had been on 16 they would have still had to go for the win against us to make sure they are top 8. Actually on 13 they will have qualified for the knock out so it’s a seeding they are likely playing for now.

Our task is simple win tomorrow and we will be in the top 24. I actually fear given results tonight, a draw and 10 points won’t see us through.

Edit a draw we would likely sneak in but it would be squeaky * time needing to make sure Milan didn’t lose to Dinamo Zagreb in Zagreb and we would need to make sure if PSG were beating Stuttgart that we weren’t getting hammered by more from Villa.

Please just win tomorrow night and we will be between 17th to 19th, combine that with an Arsenal
win and we are 100% qualified.

I agree. A draw is no use now. It's win or bust.
Cue a very nervous night now.

We need to get the win to guarantee qualification but 1 point could be enough. It would take us above Stuttgart on GD and they have PSG in the last game who are below us and they have Man City tomorrow. So unlikely Stuttgart and PSG can both finish above us. Zagreb would need 3 points from Arsenal and Milan to finish above us (unless we get humped by AV and they catch us on GD).

Results definitely didn't go our way tonight, the only small benefit was Stuttgart not going ahead of us on goals.

Looking at the teams below, I'm not sure if a draw would be enough tomorrow, Zagreb have two nightmare ties and a terrible goal difference so two draws wouldn't be enough for them most likely, the real problem is Man City and PSG both being behind us.

Both teams can't overtake us tomorrow even if we somehow lost at the very least.

We can avoid all this if we turn up tomorrow and do the job, but if we do draw, our best bet would be PSG hammering Stuttgart or Feyenoord losing both games alongside Zagreb failing to win either game.

Lose tomorrow and we're all but out unless we get something against Villa, would take a small miracle to qualify with 9.
