Oh to be a fly on the wall, what is really going on with Kyogo?
His head seems to have been turned as the we man has not been his brilliant best so far this season, hopefully someone in the background has got his replacement in their sights, but then again this is Celtic!

I'd like this, a striker in anyway, know nothing about the Danish fellow.

Kyogo been good last couple of games for me, aye his finishing can be erratic of late, but I'd have him and a.n.other. Idah isn't good enough for me, I know it's early still but I'd rather he went than Kyogo. But as said if he wants to leave fair dos, he's been brilliant wee servant for us.

I’m not too sure tbh, I think he probably wants a move but don’t think he’d be the type to kick up a fuss or be difficult within the squad. He’s always been pretty wasteful in front of goal so not looking too much into that, even at his absolute best here under Ange he had a tendency to miss some absolute sitters so not much has changed in that respect.

I can’t see us letting him go this month however hopefully we’re working on getting another striker in the summer cause I’m fairly certain he’ll be away then.

Kyogo Furuhashi has been a pivotal player for Celtic since arriving nearly four years ago, but this season, his performances have come under scrutiny in some quarters.

Despite remaining Celtic’s primary goal threat, a narrative has emerged online suggesting the Japanese international is “off the boil” and perhaps not suited to Brendan Rodgers’ tactical preferences.

This narrative has emerged with some even happy to see the wee man potentially sold without a second thought. However, the Celtic manager has put those claims firmly to bed ahead of Wednesday’s crunch Champions League clash against Young Boys.

Speaking directly to CeltsArehere, Rodgers praised Kyogo’s versatility but made it clear the striker is central to his plans. “Kyogo is an exceptional player with great flexibility, and while he’s shown he can operate out wide, his best position is as a central striker,” Rodgers stated

He went on to refute any notion that Kyogo doesn’t fit his system: “The one thing I always say about Kyogo is that he’s the prototype of what I want in a striker. His pressing is incredible—the speed and energy he brings when pressing opponents is unmatched. He works tirelessly, and his movement off the ball, his touch, and his awareness are absolutely top-class

The Celtic boss also highlighted Kyogo’s adaptability, mentioning his ability to play out wide, though he reiterated that the forward is at his best leading the line. “For me, his best position, and where he can be most effective, is right through the middle

The timing of Rodgers’ comments couldn’t be more significant, with Celtic standing on the cusp of history. A win against Young Boys on Wednesday night could see the Hoops secure qualification for the Champions League knockout stages for the first time since the 2012/13 season. Such an achievement would mark a massive milestone under Rodgers in his second spell at the club.

Kyogo is expected to spearhead the attack in front of a packed Celtic Park, where the atmosphere will be electric. If the striker can find his sharpness in front of goal, he could be the difference on the night.

Celtic fans will no doubt take encouragement from Rodgers’ faith in his star man. As the manager has made clear, Kyogo is not just part of his plans—he is at the very heart of them. All eyes now turn to Wednesday, where the striker will have the perfect opportunity to silence any doubters in the biggest match of the season so far

No doubt Kyogos missing chances is a concern however his workrate seems to have improved and I agree that he could go on a purple patch if he gets a goal tomorrow.

Kyogo we all know will come alive tomorrow...I expect the team to be right up for this similar to the RB game and the wee man doing what he does best... movement and deadly finishing.

Exactly this. He needs to make sure if he has any opportunity, he finishes it.

Lately, especially one on ones, times we would be sure of him scoring and should be a goal when he’s been through I’ve sat thinking it’s not something I’m sure of a finish. And most of the time it hasn’t been.

This game though, he needs to make his stamp on. The chances should be there for him. It’s up to him

Played well and I don't think YB were comfortable with his movement but felt awful for him tonight. The game he stuck on his shooting boots he ended up offside twice (maybe it was Maeda for 2nd?) and a foul in the build up stopped him having a superb goal to his name.
