He’s * man. Proper *, and a complete liability. We can’t afford to carry him domestically let alone in Europe.

I never get the fascination with players that give the ball away for 6 weeks on the trot, and get away with it because they eventually get an assist. Any professional player could do that.

He’s never getting a game for any team that’s better than us either, so * knows where his next move will be.

He’s clearly nowhere near the level of the best teams in the top leagues, and he’s the exact opposite of what the mid table teams in the best leagues need.

Bernardo and Engels are miles ahead of him in almost every aspect. I’d rather have Bernardo or Engels in the team having a nightmare than Hatate playing a normal game, as you are guaranteed the fundamentals that are required to be a professional footballer.

 

I would have Luke starting ahead of Reo next few games

 

Olivier Ntcham reincarnated. Giving the ball away cheaply and backing out of tackles. He’s capable of the sublime, but far too often he’s an empty jersey.

 

He may only have 1 good game in every 5 or 6, but when it happens * he looks good. Started to run the game second half.

Obviously need more from him though, starting with against YB.

 

Picked it up last half hour or so

 

Outside of the sitter thought he was very good tbh.

 

Frustrating again, when he is good he is brilliant but spends too much time being anonymous, time to move him on.

 

If Hatate played at peak Hatate on a consistent basis he wouldn’t be playing for us that’s for sure.

Some of his balls through today and that shot he had were peak. Most frustrating player since Sammy.

Thought he had a really good game

 

I've noticed he seems to get better later in games....

 

A wee bit hit and miss first half, but was excellent second half.

 

Got better later on, miss was a shocker.

 

Surprised to see praise for him today if I'm honest. I thought he was mostly shocking. Dispossessed multiple times, missed a horrific sitter and while he made a couple of decent passes I thought he was poor overall. Especially in the first half. Would rather have played Bernardo or McCowan from the start.

 

Agreed, he was shocking, including missing a horrendous sitter.
I really hope he is getting all these starts because we are putting him in the shop window.

 

Those two outside of the right foot chipped balls down the line for Maeda were * beautiful.

Shame he looks like he's towing a transit van though.
