It's got to be an attractive possibility for him. Game time, second best league in the world, he can speak his native language, the chance to live in the best city in the world and it's a good club with great fans.

Can't see him turning that down.

See if he had Tierney bombing by him you’d see the best of him.

Kind of guy Lennon would have loved. 9 shots a game.

Celtic winger Luis Palma is being chased by Sunderland, Stoke, Swansea and Queens Park Rangers as well as several European clubs, sources have told Football Insider.

The Championship quartet have all registered their interest in the Honduras international as they race for his signature

Palma is keen on a move away in search of regular first-team football as the likelihood grows that he will leave Parkhead this month.

Palma, 25, has found himself down the pecking order at Celtic this season, having played just 252 minutes of football for the Hoops this term and is yet to score or assist

Football Insider revealed that if Palma does end up leaving, Celtic will sign a replacement in his absence.

The Honduras international was set to move to Spanish side Rayo Vallecano earlier this window. However, the club was hit with a transfer ban, causing the deal to fall through [Scottish Sun]

However, Aberdeen’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed that a deal could still be in the works if the debt is paid off.

Palma has made just 11 appearances this season, starting only once in the league—back in October against Dundee FC.

Brendan Rodgers’ side has shown interest in Aston Villa youngster Louie Barry, who could prove to be an adequate replacement.

If Palma does move, he has a number of English clubs to choose from, should a deal be agreed with the Glasgow side. Sunderland are currently battling for promotion and sit fourth in the table, which prove to be an attractive option at this stage.

Meanwhile, QPR and Swansea are mid-table in the Championship, and Stoke are just a point above the relegation zone.

The winger scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists last season, and could prove key if he can regain his form.

Hopefully we let the bidding commence & at least get what we paid for him back. Still think the LTB to the Spanish with an option of £2.5 mill was a joke on our part as he's worth more than that.

La Liga is the best league in the world. Don't let Sky brainwash you. Just because they say the EPL is the best 100 times a day doesn't make it true.

I really want us to send him on loan with no fee agreed. He has it in him to shine for that period and an inflated fee. If he doesn’t, he won’t have much less a transfer than he’s at just now being way down the pecking order for us.

A loan, with him shining like he did at first for us? If he does that La Liga or even the Championship in England, then we can demand proper money. Just look at £3.5m for MJ after his loan. And Palma is far better than him.

I don't think he is quick enough at all to play on the wing in our system. Palma taking the place of either Kuhn or Maeda would mean a complete change in tactics as Palma is about half as quick as either of those two.

That's not to say he doesn't have his attributes. He may well succeed at other clubs cause he's got skills and can shoot. But a strange signing considering how we intend to play. Yang is even ahead of him in the pecking order just because he's a bit quicker than Palma

That last bit fries my brain, because in the SPFL pace for us doesn’t matter anywhere near as much as being able to unlock a defence, we rarely are able to showcase players pace with going up against 11 camped in the box.

Usually pace is more important in the CL, but then again, he got two goals in it last season and was * unlucky not to have 3/4, great goalkeeping and an unlucky offside stopping that.

He’s not a BR type of player, he’s not the safe possession and striking when we’ve wore them down style of player. He’s a player that plays the low percentage options, and tries 5 times for the 1 that might come off. If he thinks a slight chance he can score or set up he’ll try it, BR doesn’t want us to attempt the slight chance passes, but for us to make the certain ones. Yang ahead of him * baffles me, because he doesn’t do either of them. He works hard as *, but end product is negligible. It’s a case of manager doesn’t fancy the player at all.
