Seems to be two sides of a debate here...he's either * or our system doesn't suit him.

What I think is the more pressing issue is his mentality. He doesn't seem to be strong enough or determined enough to grab his chance. If we see him upping his aggression we'll have a better indication of whether he can cut it. Not looking good at the minute which is a shame as he has all the tools.

I do think Kyogo has been a good bit better than Idah this season, but even then there's been a lot of times we've left him completely isolated.

That's why I think kyogo's body language has changed. I've seen him visibly * off at players not playing him in.

My brother said to me months ago he thinks Kyogo doesn’t enjoy playing with Kuhn, because his runs are used as a decoy usually by Kuhn. And after I said naw mate to that instantly I’ve noticed that final 3rd, Kuhn on the ball, he does that.

But he is also one of few who when he’s not final 3rd tries to play him in early. But dont think they’ve gelled really, I can’t really remember Kuhn setting him up

Kühn has provided two assists to Kyogo this season. One in the Slovan Bratislava game, and another against St.Johnstone.

He will find his form again, we say this about every player who has a dip in form.

I see some of the PS5 experts are out already transferring him to another club

Was he ever actually in form though?
He had spells on loan of popping up, but aside from the Killie game, I don't recall a game he bosses.

He had a decent start to the season scoring 7 goals despite more limited minutes than his counterpart.

Last season Yang being * robbed him of a winning goal at Ibrox and he scored the winner in the cup final. It's fair to say he's been in form with us even if his goalscoring form now is off.

If another club came in for him and offered to match what we paid for him, would you want celtic to turn it down?

Definitely not but I think the odds of that happening after 6 months is non existent.

I think he's poor personally. I thought he was ok last year and wasn't really wanting him on a permanent, let alone paying £9million for him. Hopefully he comes good, but the signs aren't great!.

At one point he was a promising prospect at u20 level but he never really kicked on and made much of an impact at senior level with either Norwich or Ireland. Performances that are similar to what we are seeing this season from him. The patch he had on loan here last season was probably the peak of his career so far. He did look like he was moving in the right direction then. But this season has been a regression and leaves plenty of question marks.

It's not something I've noticed myself but he set him up for our 2nd goal against Bratislava. Away back in September though.

He's currently an ifs/buts/could've transfer for us...

In raw numbers, last year I think he played 15 matches and got about 10 goals/assists and this year he's played 20 and got 5 (Flashscore)... BUT he's also been getting to chances and IF he'd been putting those away he COULD'VE easily been on double figures, even as the 2nd choice striker.

I said all along we overpaid, but if he gets to about 20-25 goals/assists over the season he's WORTH IT... He's miles of that pace right now, so he's rightly getting stick on his cost/value analysis

Edit: he is only 23 though, and they say form is temporary, so I'm not keen to rattle him out the door unless we recoup most of the moneys spent

Noticed in my stand he went straight down the tunnel after his sub and never seen him come back out.

Almost feeling sorry for him which i think is as bad as it gets for a footballer, needs to sort it out.

This is forgotten/whitewashed by the ‘9.5 million’ brigade.

Fact is, strikers have goal droughts sometimes; occupational hazard. Yes, he has improvements to make to his overall game as well, but I’ve seen nothing to suggest those won’t come.

Gie the lad a break already.
