I thought that was strange as well. Maybe a little bit patronizing :56:

I honestly think it’s fatigue as well for the guys, I can see how we managed to switch off a bit last night for 55 minutes we were totally dominant and it was a failure of taking chances that had us in a game. Along with the two goals we got we missed 4 glaring chances amongst other half chances. Bernardo had two, Johnston 1 and Idah 1. Even take half those and you are 4-1 up and the games done.

The worrying thing and I think it is fatigue, was when they got to 2-2 we completely fell out the game. Although that pretty much happened in the game at Ibrox too, we were rubbish first half, started the second half ok and did score but it was offside and then basically chucked the towel in. That’s when you need your leaders to step up in those scenarios.

Imo cant wait for rodgers to slink off again as soon as a epl or european team come calling. Should never have been allowed back near our club considering what he did yo us. 50 percent of fans agree. HH

Too much side to side football, Hatate, Bernardo, Engles not shooting enough. Deflections, penalty's goals can all come from shooting, nearly 80% possession and Dundee have just as many shots. Also if the team knows we will just go side to side they just sit in, very frustrating to watch.

To be fair I don't think it's a coincidence our form has altered somewhat in the busiest period of the season and with a commanding lead in place.

I'm relatively confident it's down to the sheer amount of games and a bit of complacency.

Even still, the regression in form has still only led to one defeat. We didn't play great against Zagreb and Brugge in the UCL but the way some people talk about those games you'd think we lost.

Need to remember not so long ago in Europe, we would have!

I feel this is how a lot of our fans look at Yang, as well.

    Absolute riddy.

Been miles off it for a while now, the odd good performance but on a whole nowhere near good enough.

Conceding for fun, constant winning headers just inside our own half to head it straight to the opposition.

Slow ponderous backwards passing around the halfway line.

We have no zip in our play, and no players who drive at the opposition besides kuhn to force the issue.

Too passive and need a rocket up their arses.

We have no right to win every game, but that was an absolute shambles last night and it's becoming a habit.

He plays like it to be fair. I get we’re stretched out wide at the moment but * me should never be in a situation where he’s being relied upon.

Our reliance on Kuhn has been evident for a couple of months.

We badly need a couple wingers and an attacking midfielder. It needs to be addressed this month.

I worry though that we will only get one winger in. At this point as well, with Kyogo probably going in the summer, Idah really needs to prove he's worthy of starting. Otherwise someone else is going to come in and slot right ahead of him.

Trusty idah are decent players but I think we have over paid for them we talking about needing players on other areas not overpaying would have helped for instance Engels I think is worth the 11 m as he’s already piqued interest and already valuations being spouted at 19 m from Atalanta …. But did we actually need another midfielder especially an attacking one don’t get me wrong I’d have him in front Hatate but I dont necessarily think having Hatate in their instead weakens the team massively
Paid way over the odds for idah double what he was worth paid over odds for trusty aswell …. Like Rodgers can’t see past the epl bullshit inflation that we all see if we get into next round of cl with a win against young boys then in the end probs worth it but if we don’t then questions need to be asked on recruitment

Two big games coming up for us now, to me the really big one is Young Boys, I don’t see us getting anything at Villa so a win would absolutely guarantee us progression. Regardless of the draw we got I think taking 12 points from this new format shows a marked improvement on our European performances for the first time in at least 5 years likely longer given it is in the CL not EL.

The league despite the disappointment of drawing last night would still take a massive collapse combined with Rangers being perfect to lose it if it goes to 13 points tonight we would need to lose 4 and draw 1 of our remaining 15 games of which 8 are at home.

The Scottish cup we have a home draw and where we could have got lower league opposition it is still against a team currently in the bottom 6 of the Premiership. There are a lot of all lower league ties in this round, if we get through it would be nice to get one of those ties next round, as February is still a jam packed month if we get to the knockout CL round.

I know new players can’t play in the CL playoff round and I am starting to get the feeling we are doing that old Celtic thing of waiting to see if we have a knock out tie or not coming up before acting but we could really do with a couple of fresh faces or extra bodies to add that bit of quality to the side.

Guys we have been linked with Tierney, Sondre O and Kvistgaarden would all be fresh having not played a lot of football or of a season break and could really add something to us just now even if it is just domestic games they can play.

My overwhelming feeling just now is I don’t want to fail to beat YB a week today, as I fear if we do this season will go from one that could have been viewed as one of our best for a while to a bit of a damp squib. I know that sounds mental as if we beat Killie we will still have a Scottish cup to play for, a league title to see over the line and that would mean a treble but without the European progression it will leave a feeling of what if.

What. The point you make that “If we had been playing like we are just now all season we wouldn’t be as far ahead.” Absolute pointless argument that. If folk canny grasp that having as many games as we are that our tempo might dip somewhat, then there’s no really much more to say. Rodgers was right about some of our fans not understanding football.

In recent years we would have been out of Europe already. That’s the reality of it. Not having a winter break has hampered us. It’s hampered others even more so though. It won’t help us for the upcoming games in the CL.
