I feel like * after the wife inflicted the cold on the family. I've found in the past Askit powders help to dry it up a good bit (sneeze) and that's what I'm on.

Any other remedies folks would be much appreciated

You just have to stick it out. Hot toadies help out. The more whisky and less other ingredients the better. Always works for me in the sense that the brain starts to ignore the symptoms a wee bit.

I'm not a doctor, but trust me on this one.

thank * i aint the only one lol i've had it for best part of 3 days now and its combined with a gastric problem i have the now so all the symptoms of a bad cold combined with really sore mid riff and sickness late night, for me theres not much i can do but suffer till it clears, although if it was just a cold i would say eat loads of shreddies, no joke 3-4 bowls of that a day you will feel great, also plenty fluid sugar free diluted stuff is best, and then just use yer run of the mill meds to take the bite of the aches ect

Got this little tickly cough, annoying when your on a busy train and it looks like your trying to give the rest of the train a strain of bird flu.

That's me went through about 4 toilet rolls and there's no sign of the runny nose thing coming to an end. Plus the wife's slagging me off for having the "man cold":31:.

I've tried the curry and the drinking scenarios out and they haven't worked. So far anyway. I think my only hope now will be that earth sucking machine Hadron thing:54:

Boots or most supermarkets mate. The taste good as well. One a day makes the cold go away...

I feel for you mate. I've had it for 3 days now and it's still going strong. Last night was pretty bad with the blocked up nose and now it's sore throat time:54:
