I'm starting to wonder if Bernardo will ever try to impose himself on a game..just drifts through it for me....Yang is just garbage and shouldn't be near a Celtic team...the flow of the team is too slow and nowhere near aggressive enough...teams know how to set up against us so moving the ball quicker with 1 touches needs to happen... falling into the same side to side stuff is just terrible to watch.

 

Could have spent it a lot wiser. We got desperate and the idea of it seemed good. Hope he comes good but he is miles off it

 

We really need idah to play the role of a big center forward

Use his physique to create chances but it looks like he can't play the role, it's looking like a shocking signing

 

Unfortunately we likely need to play Idah through this patch until he scores to get his confidence going. That said I bet Kenny would of stuck away that chance, only so many chances the big man can get.

 

No need to panic because we conceded a goal ffs..

Tuned in around 30:00 after being followed home by a criminal gang (long effing story)... Dundee took their goal well to be fair

 

Idah....first touch goes out for a goal kick . Fluffed another great chance . Clumsy, loose with possession , giving away cheap fouls . An absolute mess of a first half performance that was.

We have played well for the most part, not concerned yet. Think we will come out and get this put to bed early in the second half, 2 goals by 60 minutes

This is what happens when we don't take our chances and fail to deal with a break away due to leaving ourselves short at the back. I thought Johnson was poor at defending the Dundee boy but it was a good finish. He looks a talent and would be worth a punt. Time for changes as Idah and Bernardo well off it and Yang, after a good start, has faded badly

Hopefully we can leave Kuhn on the bench. Just keep playing and we’ll make lots more chances, guaranteed.

 

Trusty and Yang look like they need to change their boots btw, sliding about something awful.

 

I hope he steps it up sharpish, but right now it feels like we'd actually be better playing with 10 men than with Idah in the team his confidence is so low. Add Yang to that and we look so lightweight up top.

Some decent passages of play but rarely look like scoring considering the amount of possession we have. I still expect we'll win tonight, but it's a concern with the CL games coming along soon.

 

Its a bit of concern having the same theme in running games now. Wastefulness, then sloppy error at the back. We will probably go on to win this game, maybe even comfortably enough. And a sense of all is forgiven at the end. But theres persistent themes of Yang seeing loads of ball but doing nothing with it. Idah struggling in front of goal. 2 weeks in a row Johnstone needs to better on those goals. Bernardo poor so far (last week I think Hatate was quite poor). We have a few players playing really well like Kyogo and McCowan - it was Kyogo and Engels last week. But its masking some underlying concerns that I fear will get exposed against better teams.
