On a completely unrelated matter ma auld granda was chairman of the Bonnybridge supporters club. One rangers game on the way home their bus got re-routed on the up Duke Street beside the hun pubs. They were out bricking the windows of all the Celtic buses.

They opened the door and grabbed one of them and held him pinned doon on the bus. Bug nobody was to hurt him. Then they let him off at Cumbernauld and telt him to walk home.

    Rough times

Apparently they had collections for the Ra' in and around the old park. I don't remember this. I've just been told

I also mind ma da taking the car for some games. Parked in the streets opposite the Celtic supporters club on London road. We had to walk through the rangers fans a few times to get to the Celtic End..

I was just wee. Grown men hissing with venom actually screaming at me that I was a * * outside the Springfield Vaults and i was like 14. It was * scary. That was before they segregated the crowds on the way in and out. It was scary memories I'll tell ye

Winning the league in the centenary year, must have rammed an extra 10000 above capacity in. Getting impaled on the end of barriers in the jungle. * loved those days. Realise we are way more successful than we were then but just felt fans and the team were more invested in it then. Sack the board demonstrations round the main stand before every game.

Don't think l paid to get till l was 16, even got into the 1976 European cup final for nothing.

Did the toilets (if that's what they can be called) not stretch the full length of the Jungle or was there kiosks down there as well? Not an area l frequented if l could help it
