Sure Oluwayemi is club trained by now.

And with Welsh away it'll probably be Nawrocki as 4th choice CB unless we have someone else lined up. No idea if Rodgers rates Montgomery or not.

Wonder if we could try to sell Kwon this window? Obvious he's not gonna make it here and would depend on Hibs agreeing to terminate his loan but he was highly rated in S.Korea and pretty sure their season kicks off pretty soon.

 

There was bit of debate over oluwayemi in the summer and whether he qualifies as u21 he'll be 22 by end of the season.

Aye he's not looked anything special at hibs and had been on the bench a bit recently so probably back to Korea is best bet for getting rid

 

I wonder what the story is with Holm? He came in with high expectations for him and has done nothing and hardly featured at all.

Has Odin Thiago Holm's loan deal been confirmed yet?

Hopefully, that will be confirmed soon. He is due to go out on loan. Stephen (Welsh) has gone away to get some game time. There may be one or two others throughout the window, but there are lots of conversations in terms of both ins and outs and we'll see what develops

 

For sure he needs to for out on loan if he is to have any chance of ever making it at Celtic.

 

If he is being a * then he needs bouncing out of the club permanently.

 

Hopefully he goes out and impresses, I said from day one theirs a player in him but apparently his attitude is not great. I am hoping this this can reignite his Celtic career as he was highly rated in Norway.

LAFC has acquired midfielder Odin Thiago Holm on loan from Scottish Premier League club Celtic F.C. through 2025. Holm will occupy an International Roster Slot and will be added to the roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P1 Visa.

“Odin is very good technically and as a young player has the ability to read the game well,” LAFC Co-President & General Manager John Thorrington said. “We are excited to add a player with a dynamic profile like Odin who will help us continue to pursue our goal of winning multiple trophies this season.”

Holm, 22, joins LAFC after a season and a half with Celtic, the current leaders of the Scottish Premiership with whom he won the league title as well as the Scottish Cup in 2023-24. Holm made 13 appearances for the Hoops last season, scoring in the Scottish Cup, and facing Feyenoord and Atlético Madrid in the Champions League Group Stage. Holm appeared in three league matches in 2024.

The Trondheim, Norway, native arrived at Celtic in the summer of 2023 after making his professional debut in 2019 at the age of 15 for Norwegian Eliteserien club Vålerenga. Holm went on to make 76 season appearances (35 starts) over five seasons with the Oslo-based club, notching six goals.

Internationally, Holm has appeared for Norway at every age level from U-15 to U-21. He last appeared for his country in a U-21 match vs. Denmark in June, 2024.

Good move for him, good game time for a year..

However, it might be difficult for us to gauge if he can make it with us.

 

Hopefully he does well and they buy him from us, or another MLS team does. I think it's clear the manager has no plans for him.

 

Wonder if this sweetens the clubs for the bougasz transfer?
