    Out: Bernabei & Palma

With a net profit. Good business.

Peter will be happy with net profit, but we shouldn't be.
It's interesting just how invested we as fans have become in making profit on transfers - I just want to see the best team possible on the park.
Give current bank balance we can be net loss for next several windows and still have a big surplus.
So for me, continued profit is just under investing v our potential.

Young Norwegian boy doesn’t really excite me to be honest. Decent stats, 6 goals and 7 assists in 32 games, at 21. Would much rather have Touré, who seems far quicker and trickier.

Toure had 9 goals and 3 assists in 23 games last season for Hammarby. He’s definitely who I want out on the left hand side.

It can be both though, right? Good business and profit to then do...you guessed it, more good business.

I think you're getting to worked up about having a loss. Also there are other costs to a football player than transfer fees. The spend isn't that important really. Getting quality is the most important thing.

Hammarby are a side near the top of the Swedish division though. Orjasaeter is playing for mid table at best side and his stats aren't that far apart, actually more even spread.

Reading some thoughts from a hammarby fan elsewhere they say his biggest asset is his pace and would be interested to see how he'd fair against a low block if he was with us, whereas when I watch the Norwegian I'd actually say his dribbling and creativity would be better suited.

All of this based entirely off of highlight clips though. Complete unknown both of them really.

No offence, but it's quite obvious that we need both to get where we want to go. Our main issue is that we play strictly by a set of FFP rules that everyone else treats as "loose guidelines". We're probably the best run club in the world - from a balanced football and business perspective. We're genuinely cushioned against all that can come out way, and still invest with moneys that are the envy of 90% of clubs every season.

Lawell just falls on the most conservative territory of our model, and gets stick for that. People miss that with every roadblock we encounter we just deal with it professionally, with minimised drama - lost sponsorship, TV deals, CL places, unexpected cup knockouts and league loss, changing management teams - we just draw from the structure and go again...

Come on you Bhoys in Green
Kvistgardeen, Orjasaeter, Tierney & Diawarra would be ideal, although we're only allowed to register 3 of them for the next phase of the Champions League

Toure is only 18 and has 3 years on the young Norwegian lad. It’s also been his breakout year, with a goal contribution in every other game. Think that’s pretty special, to be honest. Look at the teams that are looking at Toure, too. Brighton, Monaco and a few others who seem to pick up absolute gems from the smaller leagues.

I'm in the same camp, Toure is the one I want too, for all the reasons you have outlined.
He looks an absolute gem at only 18. The boy is going to be a star.

Brendan Rodgers insists Celtic are braced for any big money bids landing for the club’s star turns.

The Hoops boss has shrugged off speculation surrounding main men such as Kyogo, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Nicolas Kuhn. Rodgers is determined to keep his squad together for the Premiership run in and the push for the Champions League knockout stages. The Parkhead gaffer will have Kuhn back from injury for tomorrow night’s clash at Dundee but will still be without Daizen Maeda

But Rodgers insisted Celts have back up plans if any huge offers land for his top performers. He said: “Yeah, all these what-ifs scenarios you have to be. I think the biggest thing is, if a player doesn't want to be here, then go. And then it's at that point, then the club has to get the best possible deal. So I don't ever see the point of keeping someone who doesn't want to be here.

For us it's all eventualities. That's what we prepare for, whether it's injuries, whether it's transfers. I think you always have to be ready, and that's our message. But for him, at this moment in time, he's happy, he's working well, scoring goals, and enjoying his football.”

Rodgers told fans there was no need to worry despite Kyogo’s muted goal celebrations in Saturday’s win at Ross County. He said: “I think you can see he's well. I can see on a daily basis

People will always look into something, he didn't celebrate enough, or he didn't do this, or he didn't do that. "I see him every day. I see his work, I see his intensity – maybe he scores so much that he doesn't really have to celebrate madly all the time. Or maybe he was too cold

But no, he's just the same guy. There's always speculation, and I'm not scared of the speculation. There'll always be wee bits and pieces around him, but no, he's fine, and he'll travel tomorrow

while Rodgers is determined to bolster his squad.

He said: “We'll certainly try our very best. We want to improve the squad, absolutely. I don't have a number. I'd love to give you a number, but I don't have a number, because we may want to, but it might not be possible.

“But we certainly want to add to the squad and give it a freshness, and that'll hopefully help us going forward.
