. Don't want to get my hopes up. Having watched a few Brondby games in their Euro qualifiers he's like a hybrid of Kuhn/Maeda/Kyogo. Has it all, plus his defensive contribution and pressing is top notch also.

Been a while since I watched clips but impression I got was he had bags of energy and would be like Maeda, which really appealed to me. It’s the mentality we want in our squad.

I’d get him in now and we can probably decide if he’s going to be primarily a striker or more of a Maeda, then in the summer you can decide if you need a winger or a striker or neither.

 

I’d rather se Idah sold before Kyogo tbh. The wee man has a good 3 years left in him yet

 

Think he’s wanting his move now though, which is understandable. Idah I think will come good but we cannot rely on him as our main no.9 yet.

 

I believe we should go and put a good bid in for him, even if it is Idah-esq money he is an exciting talent that is as effective in that inside forward playing off a main striker role, playing out wide left or right coming in or as the main striker dropping off and linking play.

If Kyogo stays he can link with him well they could even rotate position in game, if he goes he is a ready made replacement.

Sign him now we have the money to do so and he can play plenty between now and the end of the season and get used to the group and be ready to make an impact in the CL playoff game. We know given our league position we will at least get that shot. By 10pm on the 22nd we will know if we have secured an extra ~£7m CL money if we can beat YB.

Tierney is likely to come in for no fee or a loan fee to cover his wage. We have got close to £5m for Bernabei, made about £6m profit in the summer transfer market. We are rumoured to be trying to get that young prospect centre back from OB Odense on a Bosman.

If we have to spend a bit to get Kvistgaarden and the Norwegian lad it’s still good value for money and would put us in a strong position for the rest of this season and more importantly next season.
