    I would be tempted to play Hatate out wide, I remember he played a couple of games as right full back for us and where he was a little suspect defensively he was great going forward. He also played there previously for the Japanese Olympic side.

    What else we do I don’t know, you suspect despite Yang being awful he may well play again but hopefully on the left.

    Was thinking Kyogo on the left Idah up top would be how he'd go but 4-3-1-2 with McCowan behind the strikers isn't a bad shout. Wouldn't be opposed to pushing Valle further forward tbh.

    Think this could be the way to go. Possibly Valle for Taylor, either/or. We really should be working on different setups not just for dealing with injuries, but just to keep teams guessing. Also teaching players how to adapt to different positions.

    If we don't tomorrow it will have been forced which is pretty poor tbh. Any manager worth his salt would be planning these contingencies.

    Slight difference this time however, and it’s a rather important point, is he is also saying that Maeda and Kuhn have played a lot of football and are now both out injured. Thankfully it has happened with time to get them back for the YB game. Because if this happens a week or so down the line, and we go into the YB game with Yang and Palma, it’s a * disaster in all honesty. The league is done. We’ve got the chance to go further in Europe’s elite competition, it should go without saying we have a better chance of doing that with a fully fit and fresh team. I’d be amazed if we don’t rotate plenty in the upcoming games.

    Like the look of that team. Maybe swapping Hatate for McCowan. Reo seems to perform better atm coming on as sub. But well worth the try this set up.
