Yes! But also one of the stroppiest... If he assumed he'd let it slide, or wasn't giving all he wanted; in the exact way he wanted, he'd shelf him in an instant...

After he left l got a Jota t-shirt in the Celtic store for 3 quid. Could turn out to be a great investment if he were to come back

So disrespectful, what would Maeda say about that?

Apparently Bestikas want him on loan until the summer. Is there a reason why we shouldn't give him a call?

Has he said this? If so, wonder why as he’s not really done anything (if anything at all) since leaving

Jota (25) has yet to make an impact at Stade Rennais since making the move to Brittany in the summer and, according to Ouest-France, he may not get the chance to do so.

Having fallen out of favour at Al-Ittihad, the Portuguese winger made the move to Rennes in an €8m deal back in August. However, it is a move that is yet to work out. He arrived out of fitness due to his ostracisation prior to his exit from Saudi Arabia and it took him a while to get up to speed. Once he did so, he was quickly injured and by the time he had recovered, Jorge Sampaoli had replaced Julian Stéphan on the sidelines

Jota seemingly doesn’t feature in Sampaoli’s plans with the winger yet to make a single start since the new manager arrived. Ouest-France now understands that the former Celtic winger will leave Les Rennais this month and join a foreign club, the identity of which has not been revealed by the publication

Just think it would be mad not to ask the question. If he doesn't want to come back fair enough....but let's face it, he's feeling the effect of leaving somewhere he loved and that loved him. Difficult to find that

Absolutely should be asking the question, but often when we(the fans) feel that way, the club itself is about 500miles elsewhere looking at some random signing.

KT and Jota in the door for the start of next season (if not this month) would be sensational.
Valle on a perm and Maeda there as well. Arguably the best the left side would have looked in my life time.

I don’t think he can come back to the U.K. until the summer without getting hit by a huge tax bill, but not 100% certain on that.

Good player for us but wouldn’t want him back now. We were perhaps lucky to have him in his best years but I’m afraid to say he will be on the decline now.

From a motivation perspective, that would be lost on him too, so that would be a big problem.

All in all, it would be good for us just to leave the good times in the past. Thanks Joto
