The amount of folk I've seen since the final, describing penalty shoot outs as a 'lottery'. It isn't, it's all about skill, nerve, and composure.

 

That's a phrase for losers, the huns were using it after the Europa League final.

Penalties are far harder than made out, especially in a shoot out. You're expected to score and miss could mean a loss.

This American media / TV press conference culture we seem to have conformed to…

Every event that happens there seems to be an obligation for dozens of police, politicians, emergency workers etc all to stand behind a podium taking turns giving their 2-pence worth while some guy stands at the side doing sign language..

They go on snd on…. Instead of the folk there bring where they need to be and actually supporting the situation.

I just saw one fir the LA fires - i gave up after 40 minutes but there must have been 40 people all standing there… they swapped sign language guy 3 times and said they would be doing it all over again in Spanish ffs..

No wonder the place is on fire if half the emergency services are standing looking at a Fkkn camera.
