Very cold night off the back of a heavy schedule, probably good to get him rested and hopefully nothing major just a niggle.

Nico Kuhn had to drop out of the Celtic line-up minutes before kick-off due to an injury niggle.

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed the winger felt an issue "at the top of his thigh".

Kuhn had been listed in the starting XI but was replaced by Yang moments before the Scottish Premiership tie kicked off.

Rodgers explained the matter on Celtic TV after the 2-0 win over Dundee United but admitted the extent of the injury is not yet known

Nothing yet. He felt something at the top of his thigh which was a shame.

"We'll have to see what that is and how that shows up tomorrow."

On BBC Sportsound, Rodgers further added: "Hopefully not [serious].

"He didn't feel he could risk it so we will just need to see."

Would be tempted to rest him fully against County, but they'll be just as stuffy as United so we might need his creativity if fit.

For me even if it is minor I would rotate the full team near enough on Saturday especially if they fail to win tomorrow night.

We will be miles ahead in the league and of our next fixtures each opponent will have had more rest than us.

    - Ross County - 3 days more rest
    - Dundee - play tomorrow night so 2 days more
    - Killie don’t play again now to they play us a week on Saturday we have two games between now and then.
    - Young Boys play on the Saturday at the same time as us but since they last played on the 15th of December we will have played 8 games by the time they play again.

Hopefully he got the issue in time and by not playing tonight at all he is fine for the weekend.

Why aren't Killie playing this weekend, that makes no sense?

Yeah they must have already played this fixture on the weekend of the cup semi final, final or a midweek before.

So they will have plenty of time to prepare for the game with us. That is why I believe we should play a heavily rotated team up at Dingwall this weekend and if they get a positive result I would put most of them out again at Dens on Tuesday.

Go strong vs Killie and be ready for YB on the 22nd.

Likewise with Nicholas, he felt something just in the warm-up the other night. He had the scan and it was nothing too serious.

Good news. Using our massive lead as an ability to rest these crucial players so we're no * for Europe.

For sure no sense risking Maeda or Kuhn this weekend. We can always play Idah and Kyogo up front while I would also feel comfortable with Hatate and or McCowan if they moved out to a wide position for the weekend.

Kyogo has played on the left before, idah could deputise there too.
Surely we have some young lads who can step up too.

Can't be taking risks when we've got 2 important champions league games coming up

Totally agree no need to even consider playing Maeda and or Kuhn tomorrow let them rest we have good options. We can play Idah and Kyogo as a front 2 pairing or if we want to stay with the same shape we could play Kyogo on the left as you say and either McCowan or Hatate on the right.

Would actually quite like to see us try something a little different tomorrow, for experiment’s sake. Go with two up front, a diamond in midfield and just let AJ and Valle bomb on out wide.

Can't use width on that Park anyway, so a diamond would make perfect sense.

Wrap him in cotton wool ahead of Young Boys game.
League won already, no need for risks.
