That's what it'll be. They'll sign him after the cl games. Apparently they offered him 15k more a week than he's getting here back in the summer. There was chat he took the huff a bit about it that we didnt let him go .
Was round the time he missed the Hibs game with his shoulder. Wonder if a new club would force him to get surgery on his shoulder. Hasn't affected him too much this season

 

If that’s the case we need his replacement in the door a week or so before the end of the CL games. Think with it being Rodgers though he’ll want a ready made expensive player. There’ll be none of this unearthing a gem like kyogo/o’reilly/maeda/etc.

 

We’d need a ridiculous offer to let him go this month which isn’t happening, but I’d imagine he’s almost certainly away in the summer.

 

Worst case scenario, say we sell him this month. I dunno if this is maybe a bad take but imagine we got Giorgos Giakoumakis back? Still only 30, total poacher which i think would suit us at the moment.

I think he's always missed quite a lot of chances, but he used to get so many that he'd always score enough to make up for the misses.

He wanted to be the number 1 striker and 30 odd grand a week. He didn't stay in US for long either cos he got offered more to go to Mexico and the Atlanta fans think he's a *.

 

Seems to be picking up pace this one? Although the worry is there’s no links of us wanting a striker at all! Apart from some reports we’re wanting Evan Ferguson but those seem like lazy links due to him just being Irish and available.

 

He's only away now if we already have someone lined up to replace him and I'm not talking about some random * * we spend a mil or 2 on.

Delicate one this. He's gone either now or in the summer. We can defo demand a lot more now for the inconvenience but he for me has to play young boys..so we'd need to keep him injury free, do the business v bern and then get his replacement in by end of the window. Would have to be a first choice striker too and the money from Atlanta or whoever would need to be eye watering considering the CL money potentially being put at risk

Good player with big time potential IMHO but significant fitness issues would be what would put me off.

 

Keep until the end of the season and bed in replacement now..

 

It’ll be a sad day indeed when Kyogo leaves, forget how good some of his goals against the Huns were


I do kind of wonder what Rodgers ideal striker is for his system, a Dembele type?

 

Don’t even think Dembele was his preferred type. Across all his clubs he’s had such a mismatch of strikers. Genuinely think he doesn’t mind who’s up top as long as they drop in and help the midfield build forward

 

If he is going, then I want my last last memory of him to be jumping around with the Scottish cup in May.
