Won’t happen but would love to see:

    Schmeichel

    AJ
    CCV
    Trusty
    Valle

    Bernardo

    Engels
    McCowan

    Kuhn
    Maeda
    Palma

    Whats more likely is:

    Schmeichel

    Ralston
    CCV
    Scales
    Valle

    McGregor
    Bernardo
    Engels

    Kuhn
    Idah
    Maeda

I think Idah will get the start, even if Kyogo had been good Thursday. Has to drop Hatate and Scales but don’t think he’ll drop both. Engels has to play, and properly kick on from where he left off after his last 2 starts.

Expect Trusty and Engels to come in today.

    Engels for Hattate or Bernardo?
Should be in for Hattate but BR consistently favours him over Bernardo - so expect Hattate to start.

Don't see many other changes as Brendan typically tries to trust existing players to 'put it right'

    Engels Ill but may play.
Wondering if he is ill because of coin hitting him in head.
That needs to be checked properly.

The only logical explanation was that the Bhoys were still hungover from their night out at the darts. Hopefully they’re sobered up for this game

Get what you're saying, but think you're underestimating how damaging Thursday was in terms of squad confidence. Mentality in the next hun game isn't just something that needs to be there on the day, it's something that has to be built up and starts today. Actually started first training session after the game.

Today is massively important, it has to be right and can't be underestimated.

Don’t understand how in 2025 they cannot identify someone in a football stadium via security cameras. They must be everywhere in football stadiums and when I had season ticket at Parkhead the police always had security cameras recording you for no reason anyways in case you blessed yourself or sang a naughty rebel song but I guess it’s fine if you throw coins… even worse it happened twice in the same match and they can’t find either culprit, useless.

There's been a sick bug rife throught the squad. That leaves you weak as * for a good week. Can be the only reason we was so *. If we ran harder they'd have all just shat there white shorts.

Hopefully the rest have fully recovered and we win 12-0 today.

Ever since that game I can’t think of anything else but battering St Mirren convincingly. I hope the team feels the same way.

Think we'll win, but think we'll make hard work of it, possibly 1 0. I don't see a spanking and don't see us being too flamboyant also, will have most of the ball but the usual passing * around the back expecting a charge of the light brigade from the opposition.

Also wouldn't be surprised if huns slip up, they've got a habit of doing that. I do think they'll win but wouldn't be surprised if not.

In years gone by whoever lost between Celtic and Rangers at New Year seemed to go on a bit of a downer. Just need the team to grind results out as we have some amount of games in January. Just feel fatigue is setting in. Think that's my concern. Anyway wee victories in Green at Easter Rd and Celtic Park would certainly make me a bit happier.
