If true, now I wonder whether a recall of Valle is indeed possible

I can't bring myself to be as excited as I should be due to his injury history.

If fit he's a world class fullback. Bit he hasn't been fit for some time...I'd still like to get Valle in but regardless we will need good cover for him

As soon as that? That's surprising. Take it he'd be coming in this window then. Pointless to sit on the bench at arsenal

    https://tbrfootball.com/kieran-tier...-west-ham-enquire-about-signing-arsenal-star/

TBR Football understands that Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has decided on his next club after attracting interest from Celtic and Premier League sides West Ham United, Brentford and Leicester City.

The Scot has been at Arsenal since the summer of 2019. Unai Emery signed him back then and he became an instant fan favourite at the club.

However, injuries have been really cruel to Tierney over the years, and he had his troubles while on loan at Real Sociedad in the 2023/24 season as well.

Tierney returned to Arsenal in the summer and even played in the EFL Cup against Crystal Palace in January. Now, he is hoping to leave the Emirates and already has his mind set on his next destination.

TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been informed that Tierney has decided to leave Arsenal and join Celtic in this window.

We can confirm that Tierney has shunned interest from Europe and a few rival Premier League clubs in the last week, as he maintains his insistence on moving back to Celtic.

Leicester City, Brentford and West Ham United are amongst the sides who enquired, as did teams in Italy, Germany and France, But, there was simply no interest from Tierney’s side.

TBR Football revealed in December that Tierney had made up his mind to move back to Celtic this month, and the Scottish giants are in talks with Arsenal about finalising a deal

Arsenal and Tierney have already agreed that he won’t be talking about an extension on his current contract, which runs out this summer, as he had already made it clear he wanted to move back to Celtic.

Tierney has already held talks with the Hoops and a pre-contract is an option, but that depends on whether Arsenal allow him to leave on a permanent deal this month or whether it will be a loan before that becomes permanent in the summer.

TBR is told that Arsenal and Tierney would ideally like to see him finalise a permanent return in the winter window, but talks are ongoing for the best avenue to achieve this.

Get Tierney in and let Taylor leave for Zagreb.

In the Summer, either try and bring Valle back or get another LB in alongside Tierney.

I 100% understand the concerns, but with Tierneys injuries I think we can convince a solid LB to join alongside him, whereas that might be more difficult at RB

Yeah mate it's already reported that talks are well underway to get a loan sorted as opposed to just signing a pre-contract.

Obviously will depend on Arsenal but think they're willing to just get it done same as all parties. Will be moving rapid I think.

You don't think taking him on loan would involve either a fee or covering part of his wages? What's the difference?

Tierney, Diawara (or a similar powerful CDM), Kvitsgarden, and another winger would be a good window.

A loan…covering part of his wages.
Buying him….covering all of his new wage, arsenal paying nothing.

also what realistic loan fee will there be? Most we’ve ever paid before is like £3 mil I’m sure. Leicester, Brentford, whoever else has been linked would easily pay £6m+ for his signature in January.

looks like KT is looking out for us if he manages to push this deal through
