He was pish but he wasn't helped by the non existent midfield. CCV is the only person that gets pass marks for me

This is true, but the decision to let him build it out from the back was a poor one from Rodgers.

This is the best we have then what the * did we spend 6 million on trusty for. Another one that always plays no matter how poor he is.

Rank rotten today, should have been hooked, but he's been having a decent season.

Opta prior to today had him as our highest rated player this season which isn't the be all and end all... But he has also had two man of the match performances this season in the Champions league.

I'm not saying he's our best player by any stretch and Trusty should be brought back in after that but it highlights how ridiculous half these comments are based on one truly awful performance and some indifferent ones.

Absolutely hes never been good at it. He's been solid for us over the last 12 months and defended well but he's never been good with the ball at his feet.

The lad needed to be taken off today - his confidence was shot to pieces from early on. This is were a good manager sees and reacts. If didn't want to break his confidence should have hooked him HT. I would have brought him off after 30 mins.

Shave his head and bench him. He shouldn't be the standard bearer for starting CB for Celtic. Can only guess Trusty is really ill as he shouldn't be anywhere near playing full 90mins for the club.

    He was appalling.

Not helped by our midfield and forwards hiding behind blue jerseys right enough.

Got hounded after calling him out recently here, told how his passing and striding forward is excellent!!!!

He is * chronic, weak, constantly gives it away, dont want to see him play ever again!!!

Was literally about to put the same. I gave him pelters last season and didn’t want him to be a regular for us but he’s been decent this year.
It really was a honking performance from him. There was a lack of movement from those ahead also but even if there was I doubt he would of picked them out

Not one single midfielder was looking for a pass in that first half. Disgusting. What is he meant to aim at with the ball at his feet and a limited skillset? Was * Sunday league out there

Worst player on the park today. Gave the ball away countless times. Very shaky defending.
His nervousness in the first 5-10 mins rubbed off on others. Should never be a starter for Celtic

    Aye shoulda been hooked.

Like Taylor I dont mind them being backup, but not starters in big games unless injuries can't be helped.

This is the single biggest issue we have imo. Not just today, all the time.

The games we see when we're flying it's because players are always moving into space to receive the ball, and most importantly doing it as a unit.

Whenever we struggle it's because we somehow stop doing that and look as if we're a team with zero intelligence or forward thinking.

Scales and Taylor are always the fall guys, and tbf they are the ones most at fault usually for giving the ball away, along with Hatate.

But if we are operating properly then they'll always have an option better than a risky forward or sideways pass, or turning back towards our goal. It's * criminal how lazy we can get as a team, which then makes players susceptible to misplacing passes.

What we need to be looking at is why we have no answer to teams pressing or man-marking us, instead of wanting every * sacked or sold like * wee guys.

The midfield is where we lost the game today. Scales was * poor aye but the amount of times he ran with the ball over the halfway line with his arms outstretched looking for options. Happened as well with Carter Vickers he ended up doing a couple of cruyff turns before being able to find Kuhn in a bit of space.

The midfield is costing us in the big games it's becoming a bit of a theme

Poor pass led to the 1st goal and his confidence nose dived after it. Was terrified to give it away so it was back to some of the performances we seen from him last season. Everything backwards or out the park.

We can't have 2 players so poor on the ball and so vulnerable to being pressed playing on same side of the back 4. The huns set up to allow us to have the ball in that area bcos they knew they could win it off him and Taylor.

Situation is also not helped by the left sided midfielder being equally as poor on the ball

Naw it isnae, he's * *. He's slow, can't pass the ball, can't read the game, and constantly gets out of position and that's why he's forever pulling shirts. He offers * all.

He's only playing cos Rodgers sees him as some sort of project. Wish he'd just * off.
