Well that was one * of a weak performance by everyone including the manager.

I think going in to that game 14 points in front turned out to be a big negative. Took the hunger out of us and allowed us to just turn up and half-* it. I don't believe we would have performed like that had Rangers been within touching distance of us. Our attitude from the start of the game was terrible. Brendan's use of subs was woeful. Yes we're still 11 in front and in a great position but we simply can't just laugh and say we're too far in front. January is an absolutely packed month and we need to get the finger out big style after today.

I'm surprisingly unworried about it. We needed to strengthen a few positions and now we surely will. It will also hurt Rodgers' ego, which often seems to bring the best out of him. Most importantly, it's still not actually in their hands (the points they dropped in the previous 2 games were crucial in that regard). I'd be a lot less relaxed if it were in their hands; but as it stands, even if they win every game for the rest of the season including both remaining derbies, as long as we do our job properly against ordinary SPL teams, we still win the league.

That's the worst performance I have seen for a while but what REALLY surprised me was that Liam Scales was awful right from the get-go and I can't understand why Brendan stuck with him. So many passes given away - thought Trusty would have started that game but would have been substituted early doors, at the very least.

We did not seem up for that today at all - the frustration of watches Rangers passes being watched instead of intercepted when they were within reach. Its like the whole squad had the flu or something.

I guess everyone can have a bad game but the whole team? There is something not right there today and I wish I knew what it was - not one person fought for anything today

Worried about the performance not one player gets passmark from me but in the grand scheme of things get 2 or 3 players in will improve us massively the league is done and it keeps him in a job for awhile longer let's see how the get on against hibs who will play a low block which is what we should have done today .Calm down troops today it will all be fine come may

I agree with everything you’ve said there, however we were seriously lucky that wasn’t more than 3.

I thought Bernardo was the best mid, tried to be physical but Hatate and Mcgregor all over the shop.

What kills me the most is how easy we make it for other teams.

12th minute and 30th minute, Taylor has a throw-in at half way. Both times we lost the ball straight from throw-in and they countered us and nearly scored twice.

Scales running out from back leaving his area completely empty and loses the ball, they go right through with one pass and hit the post.

We defend worse than Sunday league teams.

The midfield rotations to get the ball from defence are done. It’s predictable as *. Every time Taylor gets the ball, they know exactly where it’s going and their first goal came from us playing squared ball across midfield like the cup final.

School boys mistakes happening time and time again. That’s on Rodgers. Big questions after today.

Think back through the years , mostly the EBT years when the huns have been well ahead in the league and were playing pish ,them at home, throw everything at them, turn in a great performance and get a result then think that’’ this could be a turning point for us’’ only for us to go back to being * and the realisation that we’re still 11pts behind……
    Well That’s Them.

    That’s all this lose means
    To them its ‘’everything’’

Can’t show up and play like that in a Celtic jersey. I’ve seen us get pumped manyvtimes by a better team but this was woeful. It was shout at your tv every 20 seconds kind of bad.
Anyways we move on, no need for any damage limitation here, we need to get back to work and improve. That performance indicates slack attitude and unpreparedness

Worst performance of the season individually and collectively. Thoroughly disappointing, if that's not copyright.

They know Mcgregors role as the sitting midfielder and nullified it, we need more options across the middle possibly play with 4 in the middle and have 2 players looking for it if we are playing out from the back.

He should have hooked Scales and Hatate at half time for a start. And when he finally made the first substitutions, only 1 midfielder came on and both those above somehow managed to stay on. Game goes to 2 nil and it’s over. I would have liked to have seen both Engels and McCowan on the start of the 2nd half

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers: "Rangers were the better team. We were not aggressive enough without the ball. On the ball, it was far too slow.

"I'm not sure if the 14-point gap took the edge off, it shouldn't, but maybe subconsciously it can do. We did not play well and Rangers deserved to win.

"It was one of those days. They are not robots. The energy in the stadium, they wanted to prove a point, they hadn't beaten us and they are so far behind in the league, so there are many reasons why."
