Liam Scales

Big Scales had a positive influence especially the way we started second half but all his good play was riddled with mistakes, got away with one for that Pen call

 

He's by far our biggest threat in the air. The flick on for Maeda and the header late on.

His passing has also gone up a level this season as well. It might have been Daizen he weighted a ball perfectly into the box to cut back.

 

As usual, solid performance..v unlucky with his header, I thought it was in. The only thing I think that was lacking from his game initially was when to play the ball when coming out from the back, but this season I think it's so far improved it's unreal. Lots of our play starts with him.

 

Excellent performance.

 

Should never start a game first the 1st 11 again. Terrible!!!

 

Like Taylor in the cup final.. I think most of our problems stemmed from him. Poor in the pass and so slow to react

The weird notion since the cup final that he is in the mould of Ajer or Van Dijk and can be the ball playing CB is mad considering it's clearly his biggest weaknesses.

 

He should never ever ever be our first pick again..

Completely went under that whole game..

There isn't a chance Trusty isn't better than him..

His performance alone will give me nightmares for days..

 

Genuinely one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a Celtic centre half. He made a complete * of that first goal and then it just snowballed from there. However I’ve got no idea why he wasn’t subbed, for his own sake as much as ours. Terrible call to keep him on.

Also while I’m at it, his hair is * atrocious and needs sorted out.

 

Whole team was terrible so harsh to pick him out but his passing was unbelievably bad and presented them with chance after chance.

 

If Trusty is fit enough to be on the bench, he's fit enough to play, Scales playing the entire 90 is ridiculous.

He was abysmal, utterly abysmal, he doesn't deserve to start.

 

Trusty must be unfit, no other explanation possible.

 

That’s the end of Scales being near a starter for us, didn’t learn from his first mistake.

 

Hes got to lose his place now to Trusty

Someone on here was saying recently that Scales’ passing is better than Trusty. Baffling.

He’s * hopeless on the ball and always has been. A complete bombscare.

Absolute mince today but got Absolutey no help from midfield..

Every player on that pitch today bar CCV were awful

 

Just go long, we got a few chances cause they couldn’t deal with a simple long ball. Also he constantly takes too many touches when an easy pass is on then is forced to make a hard one or run with it. A good defender but clueless on the ball.

 

He wasn't the only one out there but he was absolutely shocking. Todays showing makes Nat Phillips look like Maldini.

If Trusty is not back in after this then there's something far wrong.
