Tbf miller probably didn’t warrant buying until this season. If we tried to do that with each promising Scottish talent before others spotted them we’d have a fair amount of * piling up! So many players have false dawns in the league and look great for the first 10 games then disappear forever it seems

His old man has said his next move is all about guaranteeing game time . Liverpool it's big bucks then 4 years of being loaned about England for 6 months a time. Touring * towns.

Liverpool would be a shocking move for him. He’s neither stupid enough nor badly advised enough to go there and spend the following season in English league 1 obscurity.

Don't think he's suited to paying for us

In still don't rate him at all, I thought he was shocking yesterday, his main thing is his longer range passing or set pieces but his one corner was pish and I remember he tried a long pass in the first half that went miles away form any body into our left-back area.

When i've seen him I just think no way does he play for any decent team. No legs really, can't defend and although can pass it a wee bit it's not even like Mulgrew or Charlie Adam level passing it's more mediocre probably more like the level of Turnbull or Palma that more floaty way and soft not really able to ping a ball with pace.

Maybe in 2/3/4 year he'll be a more physical or wise player but he's quite * to me the now.

If he was playing instead of McGregor he'd get the pish ripped right out him in the League never mind Europe and even in Hatate or that roles he's no legs or real creativity or anything.

He has no pace and I don't see it coming as he develops either. Don't think there is anything in it and I dont think Rodgers will fancy him. Don't think he's too worried about us neither.

How can people make up their mind from one game against us. He has serious potential and would be a no brainer imho

It's not based on one game. He's not got any pace and apparently its putting BR off him. We shall see. I think he'll go down south

No pace, ffs, the pish people post on here.

It's people like the no pace * that are the detriment of youngsters growing up playing footy, if they're not built like a shithouse and run fast they're *.

Especially because he definitely has a similar amount of pace as Matt O’Riley.

First game he hasn’t looked outstanding against us, and it’s being judged as the benchmark not good enough. Think we’d learn off * like McCowan, who never once was a stand out against us and we all * love just now.

There’s two players I thought as youngsters in Scotland who I was insanely excited about, Scott Brown and McCarthy at Hamilton. Miller has that.

I was already convinced I want him here probably but made my mind up more so just the fact he flung a ball into play to delay the game, when we had a shy and could have went and outnumbered them going forward if we took it quickly. * 18, the captain and having the shithousery leadership awareness not only to do that but shout at the * around him to get back and make sure it’s not wasted. I love * like that.

Already a massive fan of his ability and what he can do playing, but that sort of * is what makes winners. We can’t allow him to pass by us.

He's 18 and isn't going to shine in every single match, especially against the likes of us. He does however have redeeming qualities that you will always pick up on , even if the team aren't playing well. If we got him in the door alongside cal , Kasper and possibly Tierney then I really think his development would be accelerated. I'd be surprised if his dad didn't push him towards us, it's the perfect environment for him to develop while still close to home. Would love it if we could get a deal worked out.

Bare in mind he's a Celtic Fan and had already been captain of Motherwell and in the Scottish youth system so he's clearly a natural leader. Imagine Calmac taking him under his wing and Rodgers working with him with his track record of developing players already.

The difference with those two is that they were generally consistently outstanding or fought like * against us.

Miller's done it once against us at their ground, last few games against us and the rotten mob I've watched him he's been absolute dugshit. I work with a season-ticket holding Motherwell fan, according to him and the rest of the fan trust group he's involved with, he says the general opinion on Miller is he can be a really good player, but he's inconsistent.

Could Rodgers bring him on as a player? Absolutely. At 18/19 there's plenty of scope to develop him. Personally, I wouldn't be against us signing him, but I don't think I'll be crying into my cornflakes if we don't.

The last guy we got from Motherwell, David Turnbulll was a dud. This guy looks a dud to me too, and as slow as a week in jail. I have seen nothing from him to suggest all the hype.

Pass, keep our money, and get a proper DM in like Diawara.

Turnbull wasn't a dud. It ultimately didn't work out for him, but he made a good contribution while he was here. He was particularly good in Ange's first season until he got seriously injured again.

Further to that, how good Turnbull was for us or the fact he came from Motherwell is irrelevant to whether or not we should sign Miller.

Oh aye: because we can’t afford to buy two midfielders.

What utter tripe you spout on here. Makes @jvalin look positively mainstream.
