Ah right fair enough, that's good. I'd read it was a medical thing.

Glad to get the 4 goals but thought that kinda flattered us. We were flat and lacked imagination for most of it, don't know if it's purely personnel or what but we were pish first half.

Looking forward to bringing in new additions to give us a spark again, it's much needed.

That kettlewell is a * btw. He’s unhappy about the ref and feels they were on the wrong end of debatable penalty calls. So what, they didn’t get a peno for yangs challenge and we also didn’t get a peno when their player jumped up and slapped the ball. Cry me a river ye got bashed 4-0.
    * just jumping on the train after all the media on our last game with the Huns. get it * up ye

Just because someone wants another player to start doesn't mean they are delusional

Wouldn’t have said * all about it if the Huns weren’t all over the media from the cup final. * *. His team got spanked and we weren’t even playing well for atleast the first 45. * them. Bash st Johnstone Sunday then send the Huns into the ultimate meltdown next week

Even though we've had to shuffle the defence to be able to keep the squad fresh, to have only conceded 4 goals at just under half-way through the season is an unreal stat. Don't think the squad is getting nearly enough credit for that too...

The same tempo/creativity etc hasn't been there the last few weeks but there's always going to be a dip in form at some point during the season. IF the worst result to come from a 'poor run' is a 0-0 with Dundee Utd, i can live with that.

Definitely a player in Yang too, i feel given a run of games he'd look decent, maybe not Champions League level but he has even shown flashes that he can play at that level. I still feel should be good enough domestically.

    **pelters incoming haha...

    Oooft that's some call..

He's just had two fairly disastrous starts and was already written off by many . He had a couple of good runs in the 1st half but equally had some howling moments.

There were 5 penalty calls in the game, one for them and four for us. There shout was as blatant a dive as you will see, the handball one I still couldn’t tell if he actually handled it. Any of the other three were all fouls and could have been legitimately given as penalties, the kick to the head of Maeda especially, but the two handed push on his back and the one given were all fouls that would have been given as free kicks anywhere else on the park.

For what it's worth, I thought our penalty was never a pen and I thought the Maedas head one definitely was. I can't square in my head how VAR got it round the other way

The thing I can’t get my head around with the Maeda one is the ref gives a foul for a freekick to Motherwell for one of our players doing very similar to what just happened to Maeda just they kick the guy about the hip not the head. So if the second one is a foul the first one has to be.

It was the softest of the lot but was still a foul. It probably suits Kettlewell and other huns that this one was given and not others.
