I predict when he’s got injury problems cleared up, not needing to play Archie Gray at cb and that, results will take an upturn and pundits will sing his praises saying never panicked and done his style and its paying off.

but one thing, Spurs under Ange with no Van de Veen reminds me of us under him with no CCV. Reliant on a guy outstanding in his system to make it defensively viable, without it its * bonkers

There is only one flaw in your prediction becoming true mate - Time.
Hence why he needs to understand the importance of adapting.

And his board above him have assured him of the time apparently. He’a building something there. He won’t back out of that and go short term instead. He’ll get the long term, unless there’s a monumental collapse.

personally while I admire that, it’s just stubborn pretending Fraser Forster can he a ball player goalkeeper.

Weird thing is, we know he can btw, Ange done it here especially first season. That December with a load of fixtures quick succession, no striker we had Turnbull up front one point. We dragged out one goal margins just to win and get to January. It was pragmatic. It wasn’t his style and largely relied on Rogics magic, but he dragged us through it, not completely abandoning his style but reacting to what options he had. He’s utterly refusing that down there, but players will steadily come back, he’ll be backed in January and like he was last year, it’ll swing back to Ange is a genius. Feel free to quote this in a few months if it goes * up though:56:

Needs to get the January window right. Who thought Dragusin would fit Ange's system? Pace is absolutely essential in his defenders for his system to work. You could play prime Matts Hummels in his system and it wouldn't work, let alone Dragusin.

Prime Hummels would be perfect for it oddly enough:56:

Dragusin would be fine next to Van de Veen. It’s so reliant on him

There are rumours in Denmark, he is in for Bisseck from Inter. Young, big strong and fast CB, can also score a peach.
He is my sons favourite player, as he played for AGF before Inter. I mentioned him in the player suggestions thread here a few years ago, as he strolled it at AGF, like Van Dijk did at us.

He had VDV and Romero at the back when they drew with Leicester, lost a 2 goal lead to Brighton and lost to Palace.

They'll experience an uptick in form and people will be singing his praises again, but they'll always be inconsistent

I can't agree with that. Hummels is/was a very good defender; but he always makes me think of him badly getting done for pace in some World Cup or other.

Aye they’re just too open. They seem to capitulate when they concede goals as well. I’d like to know how many games this season when they’ve conceded a goal, they then go on to lose the next goal as well. The thing is, Ange’s style of play has also got them winning in games, but his in game management after that is really poor too often.

Interesting that he’s came out and said the targets when the window opens are going to be the more experienced types. Most of the signings he’s had are youngsters, just potential. And when injuries are piling up, it’s extremely obvious that.

He done that here, but the other way around, he brought in GG and Jura who were guys at their peak, played football, knew what it’s about. He said he needed men the first season. Second season he eased they guys out
