Celtic would defend like a pub team without Kasper, CCV, Trusty and GT in all fairness.

They’re not the only ones but they have been absolutely decimated with injuries the first half of the season and cannot catch a break in that respect.

Makes you wonder about his training methods a bit though. We had terrible injuries as well with him

Fair point, he does overload players not just training they’ll be running more than most in game.

Only if the manager sets you up to play wide open and expose the weaknesses though. This is where I find his interview yesterday totally baffling. He is basically just saying “aye well we conceded 6, but what do you expect with players out.” It’s nonsense. Because he hasn’t tried to change anything. He knows he has key defenders out, so surely you then try to adapt your style to make you harder to break down. It’s just brain dead to still be trying to play expansive football against a side like Liverpool.

He’s done not too bad through his career by sticking to his principles is his point. I tend to agree with him.

It’s also going to see him sacked more than likely at Spurs though. You need to be able to adapt to be the very best manager. He is incapable of doing so, and trying to play wide open yesterday is just plain stupid. Proof is in the pudding.

This is what happens when you stick to your guns regardless of the players you have at your disposal. He needs to adapt with all the players he's missing.

If not, he's gonna sacked. The stats don't lie.

I’m just surprised he is still in the job tbh. The one thing that is going to harm his career, more than anything else, is himself.

Out of interest, do you think he is correct to play all out attack in the game yesterday?

As a Celtic fan watching Spurs, absolutely, if I were a Spurs fan I’d be frustrated.

They are the most entertaining team to watch for the neutral in Europe just now.

What other team in the EPL has scored 3 goals against Liverpool?

The thing is.....you can sit back and play 2 banks of 5 against top top teams and still get scudded.

Recruitment needs to be better as spurs have spent a * ton of cash and should feel confident of going against elite teams.
But I doubt he will get the chance to spend coz he will be sacked soon enough

If I’m a Spurs fan, I’m not calling getting pumped 6-3 entertaining. So he wasn’t right to play the way he did yesterday was he?

Newcastle a few weeks ago. Difference is, they weren’t set up like a Sunday * team and instead of conceding 6, they only conceded 3 and got a draw.
