We have discussed on here over the last 6 weeks. Too much backwards and sideways passing. It is awful to watch. The players must be coached this way as its all the time. Not one of them today wanted to do something different. The manager needs to sort this out going forward

 

Not great today. Pretty poor all round, the defense excepted. Which I wasn't expecting.

Passing needs to be quicker and more direct instead of the side to side patient build up. There's a time and a place for it and today needed more urgency, especially second half.

It is what it is. Crap weather, bug through the squad, missing our biggest attacking threat in Kuhn, and we were never going the whole season without dropping another point.

Kyogo needs benched because he is beyond * * poor....embarrassing missing shots like that...Sunday league misses.

Engels just isnt it...Looks like a complete waste of money....11 million and subbed till the 85th minute...says a lot.

And Rodgers..*......Fell into an easy trap...and taking Luke off was criminal.

How many shots did we have? Absolutely hopeless up front today I'm afraid.

Dundee Utd are useless, but we didn't work them at all. Was so * passive. Defensively we were fine but middle to front there was just absolutely nothing. Thought Idah did well, he needs to start next game in my opinion.

The drop off between Kuhn and Yang is terminal.

 

It's more of a culmination of the last few performances.

Aye we were missing a few players but most of them were defenders, who we didn't actually miss at all. Maeda, Kyogo, Yang, Palma, Hatate, McGregor, Idah etc. All absolutely miles off the pace and have been for weeks.

We shouldn't be dropping points today. Not a chance.

 

We got what we deserved from that. Didn't do anywhere near enough in front of goal to warrant the 3 points today.

It just highlights that we definitely need some more creativity on the wings to be bought in January, Yang and Palma can't be relied upon and Forrest seems to be out for a while.

 

We made plenty of chances post subs . That is all on the finishing today , first and second half . Kyogo especially( 2 or 3 guilt edged) , Hatate 3 or 4 decent sights at goal on top of a simple 1 on 1 , fails to hit target and McCowan (3 or 4 clear shots from edge of box failed to hit target 1st half ). Idah couple half chances , if you can't hit the * target you won't score.
So so wasteful nobody gets pass marks in an attacking sense. Maeda was a man down , as were Yang and Palma a.

 

Hopefully that’s the last we ever see of Yang and Palma, neither offered anything at all.

But, there are definitely mitigating circumstances.. so many changes and the wind was horrific..

Its clear we need to add quality in the wider areas..

All in all, you need to be delighted where we are going into Christmas..

9pts clear, League Cup in the bag and CL progression a possibility..
