KT to come home either on loan until we sign him permanently in the summer or we just bring him in permanently now. Whatever, I don't care. Just get it done. I think we definitely need some more options out wide, particularly on the left hand side. No idea who we bring in though. Would like to see us sign a no.10 but again not sure who. Trust the scouting department on those two positions.

Would try and get Jota back next summer as well if we can. If not sooner.

Him and Tierney if fit and back where they're loved are different players.

    Jota
    Kuhn
    Maeda
    Balikwisha/Norwegian dude/other winger

    Pls

Tighten our grip and strengthen the squad with 1 or 2 quality players that will start right away.

Jota/Orjasaeter and Tierney to make our left hand side as strong as the right and a CB if Welsh and Nawrocki leave. Not fussed about a third striker and if we get a good LW in then Maeda to get game time up front if Kenny remains at Shamrock Rovers.

You wonder if we sign KT, not the type really to invert.. and then a different type of LW than Maeda..

A CDM, we may see the return to Rodgers favoured 4-2-3-1 formation he used in his first spell..

Personally, that would suit us times in Europe especially and at times domestically. Tbf, we probably don't even need a new signing to try that formation.. Bernardo, Engels and McCowan could all play a double pivot if required..

Next level CL, we absolutely need one tho.

£8m for Bernie got and we then sign Valle and KT to break even.

How much better would our left side be next season with KT/Valle rather than how we ended last season/started this one with Taylor/Bernie.

And it could be done with a zero netspend.

I have actually been wondering if we may consider that too.

The main reason for inverting the full backs or one of them has been to help out McGregor in the middle, also the main reason for having two attacking midfielders is to give more attacking options in the final third. So if your left back becomes more wide and offensive, do you go to having more of two deeper midfielders and one left to go get beyond the striker and you have Maeda/ new left winger likely come in and almost make a front 2 at times, Tierney/ Valle to provide the width on the left?

I actually think Maeda and Kyogo would make some pair up top given their pressing, Maeda’s unpredictability and Kyogo’s class. There has been limited evidence of it here but when they have done that they did cause a lot of problems.

It would give you options even in game to slightly tweak shape.

The inverted thing really isn't working as well now it made the pitch too small for us and teams just block the middle lanes and stifle us leading to errors . Keep your full backs as wide as possible . KT ideal.

Yep. Striker and winger in summer . We could be too drawer next season if we get those 4 signings correct.
