Where it’s hard to see us getting the reported £8m for him, it does look like we will get what we paid for him and a bit on top which is more than could have been hoped for when he moved to Brazil and sat on the bench for the first few months before getting a chance. Seems to have been one of the most inform players in a league much better than ours somehow. I genuinely thought he was an absolute mile off it but he like many others probably cant play in that inverted role.

In theory it should be easier in build up but he couldn’t pass the ball 10 yards at times.

If we somehow get 8m for him i’ll be baffled going purely on his time with us.

 

Wonder if that Botafogo team will go for him, looking at that team of the season they have their keeper, 2 centre-backs and holding midfielder in it and won the League and their version of the Champions League. Could maybe do with an attacking player like him to add even more to them and might have a bit of money from the success.

The guy who was accurate with reporting when we signed Bernabei claiming that Celtic Officials travelled to Brazil to seal a deal with Internacional but another account mentions River Plate may be interested as they need a new left back.

 

Well, he's a player who, because of his style, would be good for Gallardo. I know that people from Celtic travelled to Brazil to close the deal with them, but from there to doing it is different.
