Not exactly disputing what I said mate beyond the usual *.

His performances over the years in Europe speaks for itself.

 

He’s one of the best Celtic players I’ve ever seen, but he’s been * for weeks.

He’s running like his * hairs are tied together. Five wee steps to cover a couple of yards. Making baffling decisions that I’ve never seen him make.

Not helped by his midfield partners, but incredibly concerning all the same.

 

Feels like he doesn’t use the space as much as he used to. First thought always seems to be a pass back these days

 

I'm not going to pile in on Calmac but there were multiple times where CCV was the one in possession in their half looking for a breakthrough pass. That shouldn't be up to the CB's it should be one of the midfield picking it up and looking for that pass. Might of been instructions but it was infuriating to watch at times. Far too conservative same as Brugge

I don't really want to re watch the game but I have to disagree with you there

 

McGregor had a decent game last night. Chat about him being * is wild and probably related to unrealistic expectations of what his job on the pitch actually is.

 

Thought he was fine last night

 

Anyone still in any doubt as to whether he should be moved further forward should watch that first half again.
Whenever any team blocks his usual passing channels, he reverts to sideways and backwards passes, because in the DM role his instinct is to not lose possession.

Badly need a natural DM in, to allow Callum to play CM, take more risks and express himself in games like this.

 

Beyond shocking..

Getting robbed constantly when trying to run down a blind alley or take it in..

 

Looks very uncomfortable with a football at his feet over the last while which is very unlike him.

 

Hiding. Zagreb and today he doesn’t look confident to drop in and take the ball. Shocking from him. Needs to step up 2nd half

Poor game, was * myself watching him take the peno. Has played a lot of games lately and is maybe feeling it but needs to up it next weekend
