Reo Hatate

* I forgot about that. Next couple league games anyway. Reo looked way off it tonight

 

Going to be honest, I'd be more than happy for him to leave in the Summer.

On his day he's a fantastic player, but more often or not he's a man down.

 

He was outstanding against Leipzig but that’s the only performance I can remember in recent times that he’s played to that level.

Too often he’s losing the ball in the middle of the park and exposing us to counter attacks.

That would be fine if he was creating stuff but he’s not.

 

He’s infuriating lately. Really * me off. Get him benched.. unfortunately can’t for the weekend because he’s still a better option than Engels.

 

There's McCowan.

For all the criticism he'll get, he's always looking to play it forward, looking to create.

But he was poor. McCowan should start Sunday over him.

 

He looks like he's trying too hard, either rushing a pass or falling on his *. He'll be lucky to start on Sunday.

 

Not a good night. Mccowan, Cal and Bernardo on Sunday for me.

 

His Celtic career is ticking and I'm a massive fan (at his best).

Way too loose and weak in possession. It hasn't improved in 3 years and it won't improve now.

 

Its a tough one, he gives the ball away more than anyone else but also tries so much more. He's the best in that midfield in creating a chance out of nothing

 

He actually gets away with murder this guy. Yes, he has done some great things for us but the amount of times he gets caught in possession or misplaces passes is scandalous. When he's playing like he is ATM he's just a liability.

 

This is where I am with him.

Always been one of my favourite players in his time here. But I'm running out of patience with him.

A player with his ability should have been here for 2 years and left for £25m. The fact he hasn't is because he has one great game, 3 stinkers, one decent game and then the cycle starts over again.

I just can't get my head around it. He regularly struggles with the most basic of passes but then pulls off a 25 yard defence splitter.

 

Forgetting he can't play.

Hatate needs to sharpen up!

 

He did that tonight really badly.

On his day he is our best midfielder and an amazing goal threat. Just not been on his day for a long, long time. Rodgers is showing him some confidence this season, just not seeing much return.

Needs to get better, or sadly needs sold. Would take Bernardo over him every game, even though I think Hatate can be a much better player.

 

He wants too much time on the ball. Maybe it’s tiredness or an injury but you’ve got to move quicker than that.

 

That one he overplayed end of first half. Inexcusable..

 

He killed two thirds of the game and is my biggest criticism from tonight. Caught in possession, wasteful in possession, weak. Worst Celtic player on the park.
