If there no coach hasn’t been misquoted come the start of next season he may be available for a lot less and be worth trying to get alongside a Kvistgaarden or another player of that ilk.

For me, LW targets rank as follows:
    1) Jota
    2) Balikwisha
    3) This guy

I would like to see Jota back too. Balikwisha is on my wish list for January, and I believe he is over his injury problems now, would give us a different proposition to Maeda on the left wing and he can play at forward too.

Hence why, I don't think we need Kvistgaarden. Save ourselves a whole pot of money too.

If Jota's a pipe dream, I'd be going all out for this guy. Can cover any position across the front line and looks exactly the type we need. Wanted him since the day we were first linked.

Nah watched Kvistgardeen a few times plays like Dries Mertens, he has skill, pace, finishing, pressing machine and can get stuck in, only weakness being his height. He should be our priority.

He's like 5'8 leaps up for headers Larsson esque. Honestly he's probably the best player in Denmark at this moment we have to snap him up. No coincidence this rumour won't got away either

He’s 5ft 8, according to both Wiki and Transfermarkt. You can see in his videos he’s nowhere near 6ft. Where on earth are you getting that from?

The first result for me when I search his name and height is 1.85m. Granted I didn't go any further than that.

He is on the bench for Brøndby today, hopefully, if he gets on he plays crap. AGF better win, it is our last game in this stadium

Because he was pushing for a move in the summer and moved to Anges agency who are known for being aggressive in getting their clients moves

    * yass, he had one chance but Mølgaard wanted it more! In other news AGF won, and its grand being able to drink at the football, the two old boys in front of me had bought too much, so I ended drinking 5 extra pints. My opinion on Kvistgården hasn’t changed, he isn’t worth it

    KSDH COYBG

    oh AGF won, Brøndby lost

We both know he would improve under Brendan and is worth the transfer

Should there be any movement for Kyogo this month, Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to add more depth to his frontline. Mathias Kvistgaarden has been a long-term target for the club and Brondby's new sporting director Benjamin Schmedes has opened up on his star man.

The 22-year-old has stated last year that he was "very interested" in leaving Denmark behind to kickstart his career. And speaking to BT, he admitted that "serious" bids for their star man would be considered: "We want to have a strong team, which means we want to hold on to our best players as we want to be successful at the end of the season and beyond.

"But you can't always control how much is happening, as you don't know which offers are coming in. It's early in the window, so it wouldn't be serious to give a bid on the number of activities. Right now I'm having conversations with Scott (McLachlan, vice chairman)."

Celtic have made contact with Mathias Kvistgaarden's camp since the start of the January transfer window as Brendan Rodgers looks to spruce up his forward line.

The Hoops are unlikely to swoop for Kvistgaarden this winter unless Kyogo Furuhashi leaves the club. But with MLS side Atlanta United strongly linked to Kyogo, that remains a possibility.

Express Sport understands that clubs from England and Germany are also attentive to Kvistgaarden's situation. Brondby would prefer to keep hold of their top scorer until the end of the season but a January sale has not been written off by the club's hierarchy.

The Danish club's director of football, Benjamin Schmedes, said earlier this week: "We want to have a strong team, which means we want to hold on to our best players as we want to be successful at the end of the season and beyond. But you can't always control how much is happening, as you don't know which offers are coming in."

Kvistgaarden has been steadily improving season after season, and he has already smashed his career-best goals total this campaign with 14 in 22 matches across all competitions

The youngster, who has earned caps up to U21 level with Denmark, would be open to leaving Brondby. "It would be great if [offers] came from outside," he told Bold in November. "You dream of leaving at some point but I am enjoying every single second I wear this shirt

Kvistgaarden's immediate future is still likely to boil down to whether a spot opens up at Parkhead, or whether one of his other suitors strikes first. Celtic could come back in for him this summer if a January move does not materialise
