Yang Hyun Jun

There's a saying in life.......you should never go back. I enjoyed him when he was here like everyone else but he's been away a while and we are starting to set up very nicely with what we have. He would never come back anyway as we could never afford his wages now.

 

I agree that I don't think we'll see him back at Celtic, but Rodgers has come back for a second stint and it's going well. I'd be buzzing to see Jota back one day.

 

Tell that to Fraser Forster, he saved our season when we got him back on loan, just a shame he didn't sign for us after that

 

I have been impressed with his recent sub appearances.
He is never going to dislodge current wide players.
However, in the interest of his development, I would like to see him start a game or 2 against SPL dross sides.

 

Very good when he came on. Great ball to Forrest at the end aswell.

 

Steadily improving. I'll be brave and say he won't be sold in the next 2 transfer windows.

 

Was very good when he came on, hopefully we're able to give him 15/20 minutes mid-week and against the huns if it's comfortable.

Would be tempted to start him against Motherwell on the 26th.

 

Much more purpose with his runs into box, thought he was really good, unlucky with one shot, could maybe have had a dig another time but overall was a great outlet.

Good appearance for him off the bench where he tends to make more of an impact. Still only 22 so he could yet kick on further. Maybe a loan would do him good at this point, particularly if we sign a winger in January, but he's a better option than Palma at the moment.

 

Still has no end product for all his step overs.

 

South Korean Mikey Johnstone

 

Really want him to score or assist someone and then go on to make a habit of it, instead of being a 'nearly' man.

 

I was trying to be positive but this is how I really feel tbh.

 

I like Yang.

He is better than Mikey Johnston imo, and I don't think that is a good comparison tbh.

Yang is learning on the job, and he is steadily showing improvement in his cameos to date.
I like his fight and directness, and I do believe there is more to come from him yet.

I wouldn't be against unleashing him for the last twenty minutes against the Huns next week. He could cause them problems I suspect.

 

Has the skill but constantly has zero end product..

Skinning his man and then putting that wide is just typical him..

 

He will come on in leaps and bounds

 

Want him to come good so badly. Literally the only player we have who can stand his man up and just glide away. Makes going by a man look so easy which is exciting to watch but his numbers for a Celtic winger are frankly unacceptable.

Why does he kick the ground when he shoots?

 

He's definitely improved but I still doubt he's gonna make it here.
For now - a good enough back up to come from the bench for the final 20-25 when the opposition's legs are tired
