His signings have been disappointing, but I don't know how much of that is down to him or Levy.

    Good:
    - VDV (22)
    - Vicario (26)
    - Maddison (26)

    Average:
    - Johnson (22)
    - Solanke (27)
    - Dragusin (21)

    Poor:
    - Solomon (23)
    - Werner (28)

    Projects:
    - Gray (18)
    - Veliz (19)
    - Bergvall (18)
    - Odobert (19)
    - Phillips (18)

There's not really a standout player there for me bar VDV. Maddison is good when he's on it but he's always been a patchy player. Vicario is a good shot stopper but has major weaknesses.

Johnson is like a better version of Abada, not good enough. Solanke runs about but isn't a killer finisher. Dragusin has potential. Werner and Solomon are poor. The rest are projects.

They needed to add quality and experience to their squad, they've done neither. Son was their only world class player but even he's regressed massively in recent years. Looks far slower these days.

Dragusin I think will be immense next year. After settling for a full season in the Premiership.

The work ethic of the team he had with us to the team he's got now is night and day.
Think of the work rate of Kyogo and Daizen compared to some of the guys on massive money for achieving * all at spurs.
No wonder he's found it hard to implement his style effectively - everyone needs to buy in.

There’s been rumours about a contingent of players that haven’t bought into it, and players that have been brought in not quite his first choice like Solanke on big money.

100% he won't be happy there.

Talksport earlier was mentioning it, then Darren bent said about the issues with their fans wanting to through the city game last season, nothings been the same since.

Think it started before that, but he's spot on it was a major moment that changed it all for the worse for him.

That club isn't his type of club at all and I believe he knows that.
He sounds absolutely fed up with them. His interviews have always been excellent and refreshing up here, even when having a pop at the media and others. But down there he just sounds fed up and absolutely not in love with that club at all.

Sooner Ange gets out of there the better.

Big man is on the brink. Spurs will never be anything. Levy will sack another manager, replace him with another name who fails to live up to the hype and the process will continue.

They have spent so much money on extremely young projects. Gray was £40m, Odobert was £30m, Veliz and Bergvall were £25m between them. That’s nearly £100m on players who barely play.

As someone mentioned above, the likes of Kulusevski, Solanke, Johnson… they’re not pressing to the extent of Maeda/Kyogo/Jota. It’s crazy they’ve failed to sign players who compliment his style of play.

It's a shame, but considering spurs are arguably the biggest example of a basketcase in world football, I don't think he'll have much trouble getting another job.

Great guy and a good manager despite the last few months, but I honestly think Rodgers is clear of him.

He really hasn’t helped himself to be honest.

Coming out and telling the press outright that he doesn’t believe in practicing defending set pieces. Wit?

Not being adaptable enough and too naive even with two goal leads. We seen this for ourselves at the higher level.

Being confrontational and contrarian with journalists for absolutely no reason.

You get away with all that if you’re winning every week. Losing to Ipswich, Bournemouth, and Crystal Palace? Not going to last very long.

He done great for us but I’m happy that our manager is Rodgers and not Ange, particularly with the longer Champions League format.

You could tell we never practiced that either. Think that's how we'd lose most goals. I'd say rodgers has came in, adapted his style but not removed it completely either. He's improved us especially in Europe. Aye we'll always take a tanking now n again, but so do the big teams these days if the others on fire. Rodgers for me is the better all round manager. Ange is the feel good, all out attack master. Still love him. Hope he * over sevco 10-0 one last time before he's gone.

Hadn’t considered that possibility.. but knowing the pattern of luck that filth has with clubs in turmoil you could be spot on.

Interesting point… as mentioned just above me I would assume (although don’t remember it stated) he had the same attitude at Celtic… if I recall correctly.. it was the set-piece situations where we lost goals and it looked like we never prepared for them.

It was raised in match threads many times.

I can only imagine the arguments the Aussies are having with the Spurs fans on Tottenham forums

He simply doesnt have the personnel to play the way he wants.

In an ideal world, he'd be heavily backed in Jan and the summer.
Unfortunately, Spurs fans for the most part, are big deluded babies, and have been so long without any tangible success that their morphing into "rangers" fans. "We want trophies, we want them now!"

The bones are there, but Spurs fans are only interested in the meat, and have zero patience to let something be built.

About 3-4 years ago Arteta had to vow to "keep fighting", and had Arsenals worst league start in over 50 years. Look at him and Arsenal now.

Ange isn't the type, but unless hes heavily backed he should resign.
His rep is solid enough that he'll bounce back no problem. But not in the epl.

People are forgetting what an absolute basket case of a club Spurs are. Massive club. But a basket case nonetheless.

Christ look at the manager list they've burned through.

Would be entirely unsurprising if they turn up and show their best against Chelsea either, Spurs as a club not just under Ange but in his tenure as well can turn up when it’s games that the worlds got an eye on. Chelsea os one of them. The bottle for week in and out is the issue

A portion of Hun fans grew up watching winning teams. Spurs structure is the same as the fans. The only winner there is Ange. And before him it was Conte, and before that it was Mourinho.

That is 3 managers with a winning iron will in them. All 3 have pointed out they’re losers. Not one has been able to change that. Jose and Conte it was labelled as too pragmatic and Spurs expect a certain level of entertaining football. Ange hasn’t got the CV of them, but he has the mentality and the entertainment, none has been able to change the mentality that is that club. I’m not sure anyone could, Ange is the surest bet of winner and style, and they’re rebelling against it, apparently the squad and the fans were lost end of last season.

The fact of the matter is your going to be under huge pressure if you keep slipping up to the smaller teams in the league. The club’s mentality has absolutely nothing to do with it if your team is so erratic week on week.

Their fans aren’t rebelling against a great style, they’re clearly rebelling against losing to teams they should be beating and that is down to Ange.

No chance. Chelsea,Arsenal, Liverpool, city all definitely have better squads than them so should be 5th/6th at minimum which they’re only 6 points off.

cannot for the life of me understand where the spurs fans arrogance comes from. It’s the equivalent of Dundee United being disgusted they’re not challenging for 2nd every year and thinking they could win the odd title.

Their underlying numbers have actually been good on the whole. They’re scoring more goals, giving up fewer chances, better xG for and against etc. than last season. But that was mostly all accrued before their current injury crisis, where there were plenty of promising signs. But his problem is similar to that which Bielsa experienced before being sacked by Leeds - multiple key players missing combined with a refusal to alter approach resulting in not only bad results but really poor performances, because the players are simply incapable of carrying out what’s being asked.

It feels like the writing is on the wall. I’m not sure when he’ll get the chop, but from what I’ve heard about Levy it’s not necessarily when the fans turn on the manager, but when their ire starts being directed towards Levy.
