That's how you react to being dropped. An assist and double clearance near the end.

I can't see Taylor leaving, and he just got married recently.

I don't know what more he has to do to convince everybody.

Maybe eat some Jack in the Beanstalk seeds overnight, and grow a bit bigger.:giggle1:

Will do Valle good, to have a game like that.. but really Taylor should have started.

For me, it was Forrest who changed the game with his intelligent use of the ball, found gaps. GT did well when introduced.

Showed both the good and the bad last night. What can you say? With his quality, if he wasn't so weak and slow, he wouldn't be here. It's up to the manager to find a way to enjoy the benefits of his play and negate his lack of pace.

He seems to play his best football when playing in midfield role. He gets away with his lack of pace in there.
And he has that killer pass in him.
Just dont reckon we need a better left full back..

Cracking assist by Taylor but won't be judging Valle too harshly considering the conditions and how well he was pressured by Duk in that 45 minutes.

Taylor gets his stick and often rightly so....but that was some vision and pass for Hatate's goal.
Seen Notorious repost of the Left Back assist list (above) and sitting just behind Tierney and Izaguirre is pretty special.
Does he get stuck often yeah, is he sometimes better stepping inside and facing forward than he is defending a rampant winger, yeah.....but Jezus it must be time to give him a little bit of a break.

I might be sounding harsh here but one great assist doesn't make Taylor a good LB. He has too many weaknesses to be a good LB such as getting turned all the time, standing off his attacker and weak in the air. He can look good when he is given the opportunity to venture into midfield (as our style allows) but I'd rather have a LB who can defend 1st and foremost

Great assist but defensively quite ropey again. He must be one of the easiest defenders to go by in the league.

What makes him so good domestically though is his build up/ability to link the play. We all know he's good at that when we have the lion's share of possession and he doesn't have to defend much.

Still need better. Would still play Valle over him vs Zagreb.

Sign the new deal ya tube.

The manager loves you, you're a huge part of the changing room, and whether the haters like it or not your a massive part of the team. Another 4-5 years of winning trophies and you'll be going down with Jamesy and Cal as one of our most decorated players. Forrest got the same stick in his prime and it's only now people are realising what he's contributed over the years.

Decent assist and deserves the praise for it but let's he honest, he'd have struggled massively against the pace and power of duk in the 1st half.

Luckily he and Aberdeen largely fell out the game as an attacking threat by time he was on

Maybe he wants to leave, as no matter what he does in a Celtic jersey it doesn't matter to a large chunk of our support.

Spot on. We all know how it goes if he’s poor in the CL next week. He’s weak, not good enough etc etc. Until he sets up a winner again when we are struggling a bit and he’s back to being great…for a few days.

Long and short of it he’s just an average LB. SPL level he’s fine, Europe not good enough. We could do a lot better or worse. But for me he’s had plenty opportunities and has done well domestically for the most part last few seasons.

Valle should be kept on for now though and given a run. He looks promising.
