Happened to me when I was a lot younger m8 and it hurt like *. No doubt you'll be blaming yourself thinking you were at fault and what you could have done better to make it not happen but, take my word for it, you'll only tie yourself in knots thinking like that. You will get over it m8 and, as my mother used to say, - "what's for you won't go bye you". I took strength from those words. Good luck and stay strong m8

I’d stay off the booze personally. Only makes it worse and easier to say and do stupid * that you’ll end up regretting.

Accept that it’s going to hurt and don’t try and convince yourself otherwise, as it only delays the inevitable. But know that millions before you have been in the same situation and got through it, so there’s no reason why you won’t yourself. Bit of time always helps.

 

Get yourself on the El D for a start. Save money, less chance of a hangover and tastes better.

 

Times a great healer it will be tough for a while but you'll get there it has happened to all of us whether self inflicted or not, in the meantime you'll need to push through and get on with life as hard as that might be just now it's a nessesity, hitting the drink just stalls that process,
