Also I blame Kasper as well as CCV for that own goal. He will running miles away to make himself available for a pass from Kuhn that was needless.

We have been for years but the people in charge clearly don't agree.

3 games unbeaten in the CL is nothing to be sniffed at. One defeat in 5. Compared to our recent campaigns it is a huge improvement.

Had Valle and Bernardo started we probably win, Taylor and Engels being * for 58 mins * us (they weren't the only ones but they were the two worst performers), Brendan needs to learn tonight that Valle ahead of Taylor and Bernardo ahead of Engels has to be the way forward until Taylor and Engels earn their places back

The crowd don’t help with this one bit.

Thought the crowd were incredibly poor tonight, albeit aided by a bad start from the team.

No harm to the guys that go to Parkhead every week, they are more committed than me. But having been on a few supporters buses, the lack of knowledge and perspective on European football in general is laughable.

I don’t expect guys who work all week to know about Club Brugge inside and out, but at least half that crowd expected us to rock up and hammer them tonight.

Same with Bodo Glimt etc. As soon as it doesn’t pan out, the atmosphere dies.

The Celtic Park atmosphere on European nights is always better when we are the perceived underdog, and playing someone from the top leagues.

Pleased with the point but * off with the performance, thought we were absolutely * for the majority of the game.

We absolutely had more of the ball. Trouble is it was because we were endlessly passing it sideways or backwards between CalMac, CCV and Trusty. This happened a lot in BR 1st spell when we played in Europe, excellent pass completion and possession stats but purely because we would ping-pong the ball between Broonie and the 2 CB's much as we did tonight whilst the opposition just sat back and waited for us to either make a mistake(a regular occurrence) or play a pass forward which they would then intercept and go at us.

Comeback or no, the bottom line is: before the game, many of us would have thought of a draw tonight as two dropped points.

    Ultimately, that’s what it was.

    Agree totally with this.
I would also like to see Idah start more in these games, Kyogo's form is shading again, and the big man really needs to get more starts to get his confidence up again, and I feel he would give us more presence and threat up top at the moment.

I sound like a broken record but we definitely need some big strong athletic type players in our team. They really bullied us (in the first half especially) and we were lucky to have just lost the one goal. Engles was anonymous, Hatate and McGregor weren't at the races and Taylor shouldn't be in our starting eleven. There was a marked improvement when Engles and Taylor went off and we could even had snatched a victory at the end. Anyway, we are still in contention and that's the main thing.

Hatate was poor but nearly scored a screamer - just wide

I think he'll have been told to make himself available for a pass whenever possible. CCV should have aimed the pass beyond the post when not looking (he may have been trying that tbf).

Got a point in one of our worst performances this campaign. Maybe more importantly, stopped Brugge getting 3 points. Successful night all things considered.

Barcelona don’t want to give us Valle permanently because they rate the boy that highly, yet BR persists with Taylor. I mean, WTAF.

A Greg Taylor who isn't even committing to a new contract btw, only we could have a Barca player on loan and play Greg Taylor ahead of him
