Besides his usual stepping up and being caught out of position a lot, did he win a challenge today?

 

Nope..

 

So weak defensively. He never stops a cross coming in.

 

I maintain it. He can be good on the ball when we’re dictating play but any time we’re up against it he’s non existent. So poor defensively. Valle the better option right now as he’s much more sound defensively

 

Was expecting way more from him, he was so poor, and them throw ins *?

 

No idea why he has got back in team in front of Valle. A * poor player who has only got in team as there hasn’t been any better player available and now we have one her plays again…. Utterly ridiculous

 

Guess it was about him being comfortable on that * pitch.
In fairness, he has always played well there-but not today

 

Done ok today, not great but there were many far worse than him.

 

I hope that He does sign a new deal, He does have good qualities and gives his all for the team, He is not the best left back that We have had but He gives his all and that is what matters.

 

Really dont get the desire to give him a new deal.

Yet another * honking performance

 

My expectations are a lot higher than just giving his all.

 

I would still be giving him a new deal. I genuinely don't know where he thinks he could go?
He's so far off the premier league lets be honest and surely he wouldn't want to go to the championship. Maybe he fancies the Italian league?
Some players just suit certain clubs and he suits our club and style of play.
He was pish yesterday but as someone who's always been a bit critical of him I would be trying my best to get him a new deal

 

Is there anything close with Greg Taylor?

I don't think there's anything close but I repeat it's definitely something that I really want to do but I have to respect both sides on that from Greg's side, from the club's side but from a managerial side I really want him to stay here and I really hope that we can do everything we can to keep him. But I also respect Greg's position and there's no drop off with him because he's such a great trainer, he has a great mentality. If he didn't renew, I know till the very last day here he would give absolutely everything but I'm very hopeful that we can sign him because he's been developed here, his skill set suits how he works on the pitch, he's a brilliant passer to the ball his view of the game is so good he plays that inverted role really well for us. Off the pitch, he's a real pillar of the group and we want to continue with that we don't want to be moving players like that we want to keep those players if they want to stay. So hopefully over time, we can get that done also

 

Hopefully he doesn't extend and leaves.

 

That 50/50 or shall I say was his all day long that he half shat out of. No * wonder the crowd went daft..

Running in to a man that's being marked by Trusty and allowing his own man Olsen a free shot at goal..

His reluctance to pass forward when being pressed. Constantly first thought is to go back and as far back as he can..

I could go on and on but ill leave it there. Please make it stop..

 

Not good enough for this level but we knew that already. Tries his best which is all he can do so this is on the manager for not replacing him with better.

 

He is being hampered defensively by the fact he's having to go inverted and back up the midfield.

That being said, the difference when he came of and Valle came on was world's apart.
