Yes fireworks should be banned in general , so many pets and wildlife heavily effected by total dickheads . And emergency workers being attacked by total scum using fireworks. Also damage to public areas and public property.

Fireworks should only be used at well organised public displays in safe zones if we have to keep the .ucking things.

    Airdrie just in general.

Why is it there? Who are these people? Why do they exist?

Does Airdrie provide even one thing that is beneficial to the progress of mankind?

I'm struggling to think of any positives for the place.

Another 'international break'. There seem to be more of these Nations League matches than the old friendlies.

Folk who continually describe a woman, they disagree with, as a *. It seems these angry wee morons are incapable of expressing a negative opinion without showing themselves to be misogynistic.
Its the females in their own families i feel the most sorry for though as imagine having that as an example of someone you'd look too for support... tragic for them.

These so called social media “influencers” who tap the * life out random * on videos with their rancid nails… get that straight in the bin. Infact social media influences in general, get in the bin.

I had a guy and his pal who were obviously mwi on a night out approach me and one addressed me as ‘Shen’.

    Falkirk Grahamston.

I was so confused.I thought he was getting wide at first and wasn’t sure how I was going to react but didn’t know what it meant.

One of them was struggling to get the wee plastic bit to open his packet of cigarettes and needed help so I done it for him and as I went to go to other platform he’s like ‘Cheers Shen’…

It shouldn’t but it bothers me.

I do agree that we all deserve to be treated with respect
I think language is a powerful tool though and if we tell people they cant say certain words then we are going backwards in some respect. We need words for protest and vocabulary can often be determined by someones upbringing or influence.

What someone means by what they say is far more important than your interpretation of what is said, because they are the ones that said it. That interpretation is as good as being non existent if there is a misunderstanding between you.
So if we take words on face value and attach labels to them such as 'misogynistic' we run the risk of censoring people without seeking an understanding of what they mean and that's a dangerous dynamic that plays out on a larger scale.
Some people can take any word in the dictionary and recognise that it holds power, but they don't automatically attach their own emotion to that word.
Take the C word for example. Folks use it here in some creative ways and there are several ways to use it in context. Its also regarded as even more misogynistic than the b word (and I don't even want to say it) as not to cause unnecessary offence.

Is this a good thing? That i shouldn't mention certain words when trying to express an idea, whatever that word is, no matter the context? I think words are the best tool we have when it comes to understanding one another
