I saw a side of him I didn’t like today, similar to Palma. Gave it away or lost control and smiled, hate that.
He will come good but he needs to be putting himself about a bit more.

He wasn't great today but his presence for the goal confused/hesitates the keeper which ultimately got us the goal. Keeper for Killie was waiting for Idah to pounce.

He will be fine he's a big game player also. Messi would have struggled on that * pitch the day

Going to need a run if we’re to see the best of him, may be hard to achieve.

Finding it hard to not be negative about him. Give him a pass today because of the pitch.

The only reason I have any optimism around Idah is watching Kuhn this season compared to last. Shows its possible for a player to start badly and improve with time. But in himself I still see very little that we couldn't have got from a run of the mill SPFL striker.

Really wasn't great was it :56:Big man will be fine. He did look like he had more hunger in his loan spell which is slightly concerning but still confident he will score a lot for us

Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
Definitely needs a run of games to get upto speed.

    Shocker of a performance yesterday.

I think it's more than reasonable to pose the question, just how good is he? We know he can score some big goals and has a performance in him. But I'm sceptical as to his actual quality.

His first touch is often abysmal, plastic pitch or not, and he's not clinical at all in front of goal. Kyogo isn't exactly clinical either but his all round game and movement off the ball is in another league.

Keep saying it but £9m for him was insanity. He's, by a distance, our second best striker.

Kyogo is 29 and at his peak and has played double the minutes of Idah this season. Idah is 23 and his peak years are ahead of him, plus with half the game time of Kyogo he’s only one goal behind him. He’s done ok so far. Rodgers will get the best out of him.

Lovely touch that should have been an assist for Kuhn..

Apart from that he was poor.. seems less determined than he was on his loan, which is a bit of a worry..

Definitely needs to up his performance levels.

I absolutely do not see that at all with the big man.

Looks like he needs a run of games, or just needs to start imposing himself a bit more when he gets the shout.

I could be being harsh.. but there seems to be something missing from his performances, as if he thinks he's made it.. can't quite put my finger on it, even joking with defenders etc, when they were booting * out of us and they tried to break his face..

Whatever it is, he needs to be doing more when he gets the chance to start.

Can't comment on yesterday as I never seen it, and the 5mins highlight reel won't tell the full story.

The part in bold there you could be describing Kyogo :56::56::56:

I think genuinely he'll be fine.

He always looks like he cant be arsed but thats just the type of player he is,hes not one of those players that seems to be full of energy and pace.

That being said he does need to make a bigger effort to make an impression when he gets the chance, but i guess we are seeing why Norwich didnt want him.
