    Engels and Hatate were excellent..

McGregor and Kuhn were on a different level.. for me anyway..

Bernard is much more physical, Engels needs to build muscle in the gym over the next few months. He has real ability but gets bullied a bit. Good to have both of them though.

Funny reading what people see which are the exact opposites and me thinking the skelf on ma * fence sitting option, Engels is more powerful and stronger. Bernardo knows how to use what he has far better. Engels is a diver, as a annoying as that is. He also needs to prepare himself when using that strength he has. Bernardo naturally shapes himself to use his strength. He also powers through tackles rather than go down, unless he’s trying to actually win a foul. Can see both views of the two players there, Bernardo whilst not weak needs to use his physical presence smarter, Engels has physical presence but hasn’t quite learned how to use it properly naturally yet.

The player who they’ve both replaced, Matt O’Riley by the time he left us had both.

He's strong but needs to learn to use it more effectively, he seems to commit a lot of fouls in some dangerous areas.

    All this will come tho.

He was terrible today, he gets away with it slightly as the surface played its part, but you can tell he still had a long way to go.

He's a real mixed bag at the moment. Poor today.

Leipzig didn't pass him by. He made some technical errors in the match but he had a big hand in our equaliser.

They targeted him and were very physical with him, just think that does him good moving forward..

Article doing the rounds that he gave the ball away 16 times, more than any other player. Honking stat.

He’s not as press resistant as I thought he would be. Needs to so much better. Both Bernardo and McCowan are showing more to be starting at the moment.

I'd have Bernardo or McCowan ahead of him just now.

Don't agree with that, don't think either could have put in the performance, Engels did v Leipzig..

And I really like Bernardo & McCowan..

Maybe, one of them could have started today given the effort put in by the midfield midweek, but like I said in another post that experience today will do him good..

But, he fully deserved to keep his place if that's the way Rodgers seen it.

He's not the finished article but he's shown he has class, just needs to add bits to his game and that will come.

He definitely felt the effects of Tuesday. It part of the process in his development. However Bernardo must be wondering what he needs to do to get a start.

Missed the game yesterday unfortunately due to work commitments, but absolutely not surprised to hear Engels had a shocker.

He's clearly got something about him. At his best he's looked like a real talent but other weeks he just doesn't look at the races. McCowan should start getting the nod is these kind of tight scrappy games.

He's still young enough to explain though. Hopefully consistency improves as he gets older. I'm still optimistic

He was poor yesterday, but it’s hard to pick a player who wasn’t in fairness. First time playing on that surface as well which will have had an impact.
