Only big plus for Nawrocki rather than Welsh if both do miss it, Trusty will play though I think, but if we needed to pick one i’m not confident Welsh completes an uninjured 90 minutes on a plastic pitch. I’m not confident of him doing that on a bowling green.

I actually really like Welsh. But we’ve squandered his potential, we should have allowed him out on loan for 18 months or so, rather than keeping him because he was good enough to be a reliable option if we needed an emergency defender to come in. For 5/10 games a season. Saying that, injuries haven’t helped either, he’d have looked at Scales last season thinking but for injuries it could have been him.

Nawrocki is more of a sick note than Welsh surely?

Also true, Nawrocki seems to be longer term injuries though. Welsh feels like 70 minutes or so into games picks up knocks that aren’t long term but consistently happen.

And I feel sorry for him there, because he’s not a * either, he’s physical and will fight for everything and put himself in harms way. He’s not feeling a slight sore yin and saying get me off. It just seems to be a thing for him.

Rocki though, a game or two then out for months. But feel like he gets through a game or so. It’s different flavours of * the two examples there but there ye go.

Nice to see our manager has respect for those who gave their lives - unlike many others today.

    Well done Brendan.

As Irish or Scottish men/women with Irish decent or respect for Irish history they have every right to stay in that ground and make as much noise as they want.
Remembrance Sunday used to be about the end first world war then the second world war which any person would respect. But when they decided to add 'and subsequent conflicts' or words to that effect, then the RUC and loyalist paramilitaries adopted it. That's when it lost all credibility for most people.
I spoke to my nephew today about seeing a man shot in the head and watching my da giving him mouth to mouth with half his * head missing. He was an innocent man and set up by British state forces. We live in Ireland, we know what they did and we will never respect them or their poppy.
I respect that Rodgers wore one like I respect that McClean didn't. Stop ramming British imperialism down are throats.

We've just had a really vital run of 4 games: Dundee, Aberdeen, Leipzig, Killie. We won all 4 and conceded only once in the process. Really, really happy with that.

Hopefully no injuries over the international break then we come back continuing this form.

All any respectful people had to do was keep silent for 60secs, is that so difficult?
At least have respect for fellow Celtic fans who do want to respect the minutes silence.

Any other points they want to make can take place at any other time.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
Before Brendan’s last 3 games and if only knew we would score 11 goals in them most of us would think we must be scoring 5 or 6 at Rugby Park, think about it.:ynwacelti

    For another thread.

You mention McLean....who distances himself whilst still keeping quiet.
You don't need to like it but there is no justification to disrupting it.

Must analyze McInnes' tactics because someone else will most likely use them to try and stop us.

I was surprised McCowan didn’t start today but actually I think Rodgers was maybe just gently making sure the players know that they don’t get a wee day off when we go to the likes of Rugby Park after a glamour game in the UCL.

Yep agreed on this. For what it’s worth, I agree with it on a political level but there’s no glory doing the way they are doing it currently IMO.

Big fan of the GB though for what it’s worth

My only criticism so far this season was his rotation in certain games, nearly cost us against Falkirk and it produced a really poor first half display against Dundee.

Yet looking at today, it was the opposite problem. Absolutely no issues with him going with the squad as Killie is a tough place, but the majority of them looked absolutely knackered today. The likes of Trusty, McGregor, Engels, Kuhn, Hatate, Taylor and Johnston didn't look 100%, and the ones who were fit (Scales, Maeda and Idah) looked poor. Feel like we should have started McCowan and Bernardo from the start with Forrest on the left instead of Maeda. Harsh on Yang not getting a cameo either after his impressive stint midweek.

Still, we won at a really tough ground and the majority of our players will get a weeks rest, which is the main thing.

Also love how he completely dodged the minute silence question, it's a tough one and he done well to avoid properly answering it :56:
