Zagreb away will be tougher than some expect. They’re equal to us basically in the table. Plus it’s away, a draw would be a very good result

Will be a nice send off for Kuhn before he moves to Bayern for 30mill in the summer. :34:

No I didn’t, where did I use that game to prove anything?

I said that team can beat anyone on their day. An arguably weaker starting 11 beat Bayern Munich. They’ve been rotating all season with mixed results, it’s got * all to do with their depth its just inconsistency. They have depth, that’s a fact. Only position they are light is RB with Cash injured.

You’ve picked two games to try and define a team, its just a braindead football opinion. Type of thing you read on twitter.

It’s football. We got scudded 7-1 one day by a top German team, then we scudded another top German team 3-1. It’s not as black and white as you try make it.

You said they dropped Onana last night as a way of showing they have strength in depth. A game they then lost. Braindead indeed eh. I actually said their last 4 games that the busy schedule seems to be catching up with them. Results would point to that. Something else you are wrong about.

The very fact that you are admitting they’ve been inconsistent because of rotating would tell you they don’t have great strength in depth. They’ve got a small squad.

We don't have an auto spot next season, we lost it last season and to regain it is tough unless all 3 teams get good results.

To be fair hearts and huns haven't done to bad in Europe. Hearts have won two games and drew one, we shouldn't be doing to badly in coefficient points if that keeps up

I said the inconsistency had nothing to do with the rotating you dense human being. They rotated and beat Bayern. They’ve rotated all season, because they can.

They have 2 good LB’s, 4/5 good CB’s, 3 good sitting mids, about 6 good attacking mids who can all play central or wide, 2 good strikers.

You’re truly mental if you think they are weak outside of their strongest 11 because of a run of 4 games.

So the inconsistency isn’t down to rotating? So what’s it down to then do you think?

It’s obviously not down to rotating due to the same rotations having success in the season

It’s just general inconsistency. Something that happens to every team on the planet at some point in time. A dip in form. Some luck for the opposition like Bournemouth. Freak moments like Mings the other night.

Time will tell I guess. Their fans seem 50/50 on it as well. Matter of opinions. A few injuries which are almost inevitable with the amount of games they will play and I think they will really struggle.

So should I understand that Young Boys are roughly where Bratislava are and we are favourites, but that both Brugge and Zagreb are dangerous and we'll have to be at our best? For those of you who have seen these teams play, does that seem about right?

£30m is a bit steep for a 6 week loan in the summer is it not?

Time won’t tell, in fact it’s already told. They’ve been excellent since Emery came in hence why we are playing them in the Champions League, a blip doesn’t change that. 6th in the league, a point behind 3rd. 8th in the Champions League. But aye, they are in a crisis all of a sudden because of 4 bad results.

Don’t even know why you triggered me, I think its just the naivity.

Never said they were in a crisis either to be fair. I said that a busy schedule seems to be causing them problems. Results back this up. A lot of their fans aren’t convinced by them either. So obviously a lot aren’t as convinced as you are. What would they know mind you. They’ll only watch them every week.

haven’t seen them play but all I know is no game of football is a given, turn up thinking it is and you’ll be turned over, especially in Europe.

Who the * “they”? Are you holding a mass meeting for Villa fans to find out their feelings after 4 results?

If you come into this forum after one bad result, the place is practically burning to the ground. Never mind 4.

If they get a result against Liverpool or Juventus, they will be on cloud 9 again. They are as fickle as us, as are most fans in the UK when they taste success and set a standard for themselves.

You think their squad is great. I don’t. Some of their fans do, some don’t. As I said, time will tell.
