The good thing is even if all the games this evening go the way we don't want I think the lowest we can drop to is 19th. I don't think we will drop that low but even if it does it still leaves us comfortably in the play off spots with a very winnable game coming up next. I expect the Dinamo game after that will be a lot tougher than most expected after their gubbing by Byern, their form has actually been pretty similar to ours, 1 scudding by a top German team but otherwise some decent results. If we avoid defeat in that, after hopefully beating Brugge, we should be in a very healthy position.

 

That was Leipzigs biggest defeat so far this season.

The other CL teams they've played: Liverpool, Juventus, Atletico Madrid.

High level performance from so many players. Hatate, Kuhn, CalMac, Kyogo, the whole defence in particular and solid backing from everyone else. We looked, probably for the first time under Rodgers, like a Champions League team for the full 90 minutes.

 

It's a great time to be us. Can't wait for 15 December - thae Huns must be wishing they'd let 'Well win. More European games tonight but I'm gonna watch last night's triumph over again.

 

Similar m8. I was beside a guy who's m8 had given him his SB . He was about 6ft 6ins and had big pointy elbows and i got skelped in my nose and then side of my head by his big flying elbows when we scored. I was then drenched in Buckie at the 3rd goal but I'd take it anytime if we got results like that

Some of the football last night was brilliant. I don't think Cal put a foot wrong, one of his best ever performances. The work rate was excellent as well, was such a buzz seeing us win the ball in their corner for our second, pure determination. Teams hate coming up against that so hopefully we build on it.

 

When big Vic scored to put us ahead vs Barça in 2012, the young fella who used to sit next to me smacked me full in the temple, knocking my glasses aff. Fortunately I'd just come from work and had a spare pair in my satchel.

Someone found the gegs at the end of the game - four rows down from where I was sitting, covered in what I'm still choosing to believe was Bovril.

 

That really says it all about how impressive we were last night.

 

The second half in particular was incredible from us. Still on cloud 9 for sure from that performance and result.
