Come on man, if he were quick, strong, tall and comfortable on the ball, he wouldn't have been playing for Celtic. He would have been the next Maldini.

All players have strengths and weaknesses. I'm very impressed by his physicality. I think he fits great in the starting lineup. We need a physically imposing defender alongside CCV and behind McGregor. He should be mobile as well cause we are playing with a high defensive line. He checks all these boxes. Nothing to complain about. Anyway, I'm leaving it here. Loved everything about our performace tonight.

A man mountain again. Great defender and a good footballer. Also looks like a born leader.

Great to watch. He gives me confidence we are developing a strong defense, not something we've always been able to say about Celtic. I'm enjoying it.

He's a CB we have midfielders to do what you are describing. Bearing in mind he has played on his unnatural side for the majority of his game he seems perfectly fine with the ball at his feet

Dunno, mate. I don't think £6 million usually gets you that these days and certainly not in the English market. I think it's either very good scouting or maybe Rodgers knew he was undervalued because of the defence he played in last season or something like that. At any rate, that price was a bargain.

At one point in the second half he had a nose bleed, brought the ball forward and ended up on the edge of the box. Cal had to drop into the CB role for him. I get what you are saying, he’s no Maldini, but he was excellent for us last night and hopefully he has more room to develop.

Some partnership with him and CCV. Scales has been unlucky, but hopefully having 3 first choice players this gives us the ability to drop feed CCV’s recovery.

It’s really harsh on scales cause he’s hardly put a foot wrong and has been a bear ever present since he came in, but to be at the level we want to be at you constantly need to look to improve and Trusty looks to be a level above from what we’ve seen so far.

It actually worked out perfectly last night having Scales coming off the bench and willing to out his head through anything.

Very lucky to have 3 CB’s of this quality at the same time.

He was bang average on the ball when playing RCB but just seems way more composed on the ball now he is playing Left side. I was gutted for Scales being dropped, who was in outstanding form this season but it now looks like it was the right call. A great position to be in, having someone like Scales to drop in whenever needed.
Just need to offload Lager and Rocki pronto, recuperate some coin and move on.

Sadly there is just a presence within the CB pairing of CCV and Trusty that isn't there with Scales.

Which is * criminal because Scales has been performing at such a level no one could ever have seen coming, he's been so good for us, but as a pairing CCV and Trusty is just even better.

    * knows if its possible but there has to be way of utilising Scales in other positions because he's defo someone that needs keeping at the club.

Another brilliant performance last night. One slack pass first half that nearly cost us, but apart from that, he was very good.

Can't believe some were judging him after a game or 2 playing at RCB while left footed. Some haven't the first clue.

Him and CCV will hopefully form a brilliant partnership for years to come.
