I thought his first or second game he looked slow on the turn. He definitely isn't slow on the turn one bit but..

Guy is a * beast. So quick and strong, absolutely outstanding again tonight.

 

Absolutely superb performance again from the bigman...can see the confidence in him now...we have 3 really good centre halves you know you can trust in any game.

 

The dropping of Scales has been desperately harsh for me, but another strong performance from Trusty who looks comfortable on the ball and reads the game well.

 

Incredible player, deserves to start.

 

Need to get a clip when he got Infront of Sesko to head it in for a guaranteed goal. And that tackle on Openda which if he misplaced could have been a sending off. Absolute colossal stuff pocketing two of Europe's most lethal strikers.

He's rapidly won me over. Was immense tonight.

 

That's probably a stretch tbh, but I'm impressed by his physicality. Rule of thumb is, big centre halves are relatively slow. Trusty is tall, strong and quick which is fairly impressive!

 

Where did this come from. I was wanting him punted a few games ago. Has impressed me no end.

 

Made 95/98 passes out of defence tonight mate. I wouldnt say thats a stretch at all.

 

He’s ridiculously comfortable on the on the ball now he’s on the left.

 

Must be what you get when you pay £6 million for a CB. Growing into it very every game

 

The vast majority of them were parallel or backward passes rather than forward or long diagonals. I've never seen him run with the ball. Never seen him play quick one-twos to beat pressing forwards either. Needs a bit of time to control the ball first and then execute the pass.

Don't get me wrong, he had a terrific game. The whole team was superb! Nothing to complain about. Loved everything about our performance tonight!

 

Very, very impressive tonight. Another who may have been judged too early and is proving his doubters wrong (including me).

You jumped in and waffled about him no being comfortable on the ball when it was proven to be absolute pish, backed up by the stats..

I'll go one further. Since I unfairly judged him instantly he's been class on the ball. Fires it in crisply and can seen him beat a press with it multiple times. Doesn't go for the safe one all the time at all..
